In my wildest moments that would be the last and farthest thought in my mind. I want to go on record as publicly stating that I have the utmost respect for everyone who posts here an usually read every post in the hope of finding or learning something new that will help me an add to my knowledge base.

My only agenda with this game is to get everyone that I can into submitting a couple of their picks so that it becomes more interesting and rewarding for all of us and to have some fun in doing it. If you or anyone here feels that I have prodded you to much into submitting a couple of picks please just say so. No problemo with that at all. The only problem would be that you might miss out on the feeling of having your name in lights on top of the leader board at some time during the week.

Really sorry if I pushed you to that point. Anyway two days left till the open so still plenty of time left.

Actually I made some pretty good friends over at the IBD boards and we still keep in touch. I left mainly because I thought the $295 a year for the paper wasn't worth it anymore an I was hardly reading it on a daily basis, my strategys and discipline are nowhere in line with the Canslim doctrine, and there were a few people posting there that I thought were full of shit an I was getting tired of their posts. In that order. This is much smaller and more user friendly with the interaction between us much more congenial.

I took out the Monday edition only for $189. The Monday edition is the only one worth reading anyways.

Actually when I was trying to make up my mind as to whether or not I was going to renew the subscription I spoke to a rep about the $189 deal and signed up for that but after about a week I knew that I didn't want any of it anymore. You were the main reason that I tested the waters over here.
You know I had been pretty critical of MM over at the IBD site and when I took a look at this site I was impressed with it an his demeanor towards me after the way I had bashed him at IBD. I'm no prize package an I thought that anyone who could be as considerate towards someone who had bashed him the way I had had to be a decent person. I'm as happy a pig wallowing in the mud over here. I just wish I had vulcan ears and then I'd be set.

I guess you and $$MM$$ have something in common

Funny thing about them bashing $$MM$$, is, that he pretty much buys the same CANSLIM stocks, but just doesn't buy into the timing/stop loss aspect. Any deviation from CANSLIM really seems to piss a lot of those guys off.

Poorman and very few others are worth reading.
