I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Register for free and you'll be able to post messages on this forum and also receive emails when $$$ MR. MARKET $$$ makes his own trades. ($$$MR. MARKET$$$ is a proprietary investor and does not provide individual financial advice. The stocks mentioned on this forum do not represent individual buy or sell recommendations and should not be viewed as such. Individual investors should consider speaking with a professional investment adviser before making any investment decisions.)

I still can't believe they're putting the hammer on Poorman. If Poorman has to raise his subscription fees based on this IBD circus, I'll pay it simply because Poorman finds great stocks. But you can take bets on what I won't subscribe to, in order to cover Poorman's fee increase
Be careful metioning those guys, they may send you a nastygram. lol
Yeah...you're right...Thx for looking out for me...But don't worry...I know the boundries...BTW, did you see the lawsuit article link about how they won over 500 grand against their employee's that I posted in the This 'N That section at Mr B today?
BTW...I'm waiting for a letter from the Wall Street Journal telling me I can't post the Dow Jones Closing Averages anymore...LOL

Poorman is not the only one they are going after. I won't mention names because I promised not to. The only reason I would talk about Bruce is because he chose to make his plight public...as did the Istarquest.com guy who I don't personally know.
But what perplexes me is why they go after people that mention them and they don't go after people who copy their data and sell it? As you know, I am somewhat of a busybody...I know many sites that sell their info. And I will admit...that does not seem legal in many cases. But, it is beyond me why they go after a guy like Bruce who they featured in their "Smart Investor" Section a few years ago. Was it OK then...but not OK now???...Who knows???
Now let's take the Istarquest.com guy...He published his analysis of the IBD 100 each week. I'm not particularly interested in the list so I didn't pay too much attention...But, lets compare that to someone who analyzes the DJIA...Like the people who wrote "Dogs of the Dow"...Did they have to get permission?...I would rather doubt it.
Anyway, the lists I post every day/week cannot be found using IBD...unless you want to look at their 7,000+ charts...and even then...you would not be able to find the technical lists I publish...For example, I will give $100 to the first person who can run a scan using only IBD info to come up with my daily MoMo List.

Yup, I read that. They screwed their own sales reps. lol
I wonder if $$MM$$'s going to be next in their sights. His states that he uses the IBD EPS rankings in his stock picking system. Obviously, the fact that he doesn't charge people to see his picks makes a big difference, but who knows?

Well...I'm not an attorney...so I will refrain from giving an opinion...I can only handle so much trouble... As you know...I don't even pay attention to IBD's EPS ratings...But I will give this OPINION...IBD has the bux to wear out people...Will they use them???...I cannot answer that...IIC

BIG1 Nice going great to see a new winner. Lye I'll try to get some picks together but just came back from along golf weekend. I will try to have them In by 9am
Who's gonna run the contest? .... I would be glad to .... but I'm filling in for one of my managers who's off on vacation and I will be working very long hours this week.
I can take it this week. Same format as Lyehopper started last week. I just hope I'm not taking it from someone else who wanted to run it. I know everyone is fighting to get a chance to run it and don't want to appear greedy so if someone else wants it let me know.
Spike, that was too much of a coincidence. I needed a short play and TOL was the first one to come to my mind. Never looked at the chart. Boy that was like a sign from above. I think someone up there must be playing with me. I guess my only chance is to hope for that 32% failure rate to kick in this week.
Making a change. HANS short instead of TOL. Figured it might be best not to rely on that 32% failure rate. Besides I just saw this tidbit on the newswire this morning.
