yah i unloaded GRP earlier....i dont like fighting the trend...however, i am watching it cus it will eventually go higher than these 52 week highs and i will be there....Im glad you agree with me on URBN..im just hoping for a quick 3 point gain anyways..see how it reacts after the bounce and then i may short it ..if it hit resistance...the stock could fall along way if u look at the 3 year chart...im just trying to figure how i should play it....go for a low bid...or wait and see if it takes out the highs for today and then bite...... i have a few days to think about it at least.

    cheers bud

      BillyJoe,
Not necessarily. Forecast for 2006 is mid $40s. But the chart looks weaker than that for sure. My idea is that if I can net 10% per month off of a stock, I am happy. How about you?

FDG: the divy is $1.36. The January $38.375 calls sold for $2.10. I bought the stock at $37.29. So that nets a profit of $4.545 per share if it is called away in January at $38.375. That's 12%.

IF FDG tanks to $32, remember she is paying $1.36 per quarter. If you sold the calls at $2.10, you'd have your divy plus the $2.10, (and you could sell the Feb and Mar calls too), for a total of $3.46. $37.29-3.46=$33.83, and I am not in much trouble (esp. if you sell the Feb and Mar calls, too). So for the price of safety, I limit myself to a 12% gain in one month. I do not believe, looking at the FA of FDG, that she is going to pop to $50.

usually i dont like low priced stocks...however, i am liking one i found....ADAM.....this is going to be my stock pick for 2006....i think they could do 11 Mil. in revs this year which would if i did my math right 40% growth over 2005...and i get pretty giggly over that kind of growth....the stock hasnt done much until that baylor licensing agreement was announced when it shot up to over 9 bucks...so i dont think the 40% growth is even factored into the equation yet....so on any little pullback..i will be adding shares and dancing around the computer.....the company also has little debt....management owns a truckload of shares and they are profitable with a postive cashflow....everything i like in a small company. Healthcare will be on a bullrun in 06 and i believe ADAM...will be right there.

              cheers

                  Worst Vehicle on the Market

What's the least reliable vehicle on the Market?
No, it's not the Volkswagon, although that was a good guess.
No, the General has nothing so bad as this piece of junk. And even the Edsel excelled this $50,000 "luxury" vehicle.

                  Give up?

It's the Infiniti QS SUV. Yup, $50,000 nets you a vehicle that is 300% more unreliable than the average new car.

                  Read all about it here:
The least-safe and least-reliable cars on the market, and the ones with the lowest projected residual values.

                    Thanks for that post.

My wife has a 5 yr old Sequoia which has been a great car, but we were starting to look for a new one. I tested and liked the Infiniti QX56 but my wife ,being more practical, thought it foolish to spend all that extra $ ( 10K) instead of a well appointed Sequoia. After that article,we will definitely eliminate the QX.
                    Thanks

                        Grebs,
Sequoia is the name of my construction company. Just finalized a deal to be the construction manager on a 38 mil. project. My wife has been after me to buy her a new 2006 Sequoia. Bongo bonuses involved if we bring it in on time and budget. Her birthday is Jan. 30. I'm going to take her out and let her buy whatever one she wants this coming month. I think they are a real nice unit.

GRP: two pictures. The first one is wishing I had seen this one sooner.

This one is my forecast. Nice volume on GRP. I think the profit-taking will continue for a few days before the next move up.

Natural gas: hey, it isn't even January yet! The coldest weather is yet to come. I see natural gas hitting $20.

Here's GRP's latest chart. Working on a minor descending triangle. Breakdown to the South says $40.50 or so, and perhaps your buying opportunity.

Yes, I had a great Christmas and a good start on the New Year. I hope and pray the same for you.

Well, my super busy season is over for awhile, and I might be around a little to post once in a while. Bought PBR Tuesday at $69.26. Looking at a divy coming soon, the ex-date being Tuesday, Jan 11, for $.84. That's $3.36 per year.

And I am keeping a leary eye open for a pullback in the market. How about you?

NB, excellent job there ya smok’in thus far. I only have 1 position open in AMD and cut it in ½ today. I’m back in wait and see mode here. I’d like for the S&P to pop old highs. I must say yesterday caught me by surprise.
