a couple of winners doesn't make me donald trump. FEED was a nice pattern and setup that i know had a high percentage to go in the direction that i am looking for. the proof is always in the pudding. if it had gone the other direction i could have been just as easily dogshit. the thing is that i couldn't give a shit what anyone else thinks or does. i am only interested in making money and preserving my capital. if my honesty and truthfullness is to much for you or anyone elses sensitivity what could i possibly do to make it any better. i read every post and look at every recommendation in every post and then take a look at their charts to make up my own mind. it it looks like crap what is a body supposed to do. smooth it out for someone elses ego. not me. and if you or anyone else wants to interact with me it will have to be on an equitable level of giving and taking and acting like men. if you cannot do that then leave me alone and let it be that. i am always open to positive discourse but will not participate in the other little kid shit. i want to see the forum grow and develope into a great place to exchange ideas whether you agree with someone elses opinion or not and being able to do that is primary with me otherwise no cigar.

This is EXACTLY why I would be comfortable giving skiracer a few G's to play with. No-nonsense, show me the money, type of attitude! And if you don't like it, go bury your head...

When do you get your series 6? I've got a fine Monte Cristo Edmundo for the first $1K you earn for me.
        Hide not your talents.

I was a bit early on the first go around and got stopped out for a .81 loss but the 2nd trade is up 2.45. VNUS and CSUN are two others that I have posted charts on and own. both are cup and handle bases and both are getting ready to break out. up around a point with VNUS and down a few cents with CSUN. it's almost a waste of my time to post them here anymore.
Hey wait, CSUN was my POTW a few weeks ago! I am paying attention!

i think you can call that a cup base and handle. i also feel that it would be taking some liberties and some fuzzy logic but i think it is worth keeping a close watch on it right here. almost 6 wks. into the cup and not decent u shaped. i like the handle and the signal it is giving. volume is building up over the last few days. the weekly is even neater and the same shape but more concise. i like how the 50 acted as support under the handle as it was forming but now the 100 and 200 are directly overhead as resistance which is going to be hard to breach. will it have the strength to do so and is there a real developing interest in it is another story. you have approx. 1.5 points to the 200 and the 100 at 24.29 is 2 points above it so there is room for a move up and some gain before it has to test those two moving averages. i think it has a chance. it's iffy so if you risked a point to the downside vs a 2 point gain is only 2:1 but if it breaks thru those two averages it could increase significantly to the upside.

Ski, what do you think is the upside potential of FEED? I know it just broke out of it's cup with handle formation, and judging by the depth of the cup, I would have estimated the price to go up to about $18, which it hit yesterday. Now we're seeing a down day of more than 3%.

The thing that I'm not sure about is that yesterday created a gap. Now I'm no expert on gaps, so I don't know if that would be considered a common gap, breakaway gap, runaway gap, or exhaustion gap. I would venture to guess that it's either a breakaway or runaway gap, but since it hit it's price target of $18 then I wasn't sure if it could be an exhaustion gap.

My thinking is that today is a down day just because people bought a lot of shares yesterday, saw the stock price soar, and are now cashing out today to make a profit. So all that cashing out is making the price drop, but for no real reason.

Do you think it will continue on its way up or have we seen the last of FEED's upward movement?

                      Thanks!

i still like the stock long term. bailed the other day for a 6 point gain but am looking to re-enter on the next bottom. i personally feel that it is over a 25-30 stock. i just don't want to leave my money in on the drops and not earn anything. that was my reason for exiting yesterday. i owned 2000 shares on that trade. it made my week. i am definitely waiting for a re-entry at the bottom. this little bit of news will dilute per share value and will help to drive the stock down farther i think. it is going to be a major player in the pork retail market and the hog growing markets in china which consumes an abundance of pork. 2+2 = 4. i will put some more money into it at the right time.

                            Stoj,
i brought this stock and setup to the forum 2-3 wks. ago. not one member made the play. the time to make the play was then and not now. everyone missed a great 6 point move. now the stock has advanced 6 points and pulled back to 4 points above my entry of 12. did you make the play at that time? now you ask me what it is going to do from here. the pattern is broken and leaves me with nothing to base anything on. i like the stock long term to go to 25 -30 over the next year or so. they are a major player in pork in a country that loves port. they are a major retail meat business that recently got approval to grow and export hogs. they are now in two big sectors of the food industry in china and are growning. what do you want me to tell you stoj. you missed the boat on the real and most timely move when the play should have been made. but you are not alone. not one other person at two forums that i visit, except spike, had the wherewithall to make the play at the right time. I like it long term and will buy in again at the next bottom. as far as when that might be i have no idea and am debating whether or not it is worth it to post it again anyway. just keep watching it for when it bottoms and turns. but the real time to benefit from the cup base and handle has been lost and what it does from here is conjecture.

Don't know where you got the idea that I missed the boat on this one. I've been watching it for a while since you brought it up a couple weeks ago and bought a little at the start of this week. I was just curious as to if this breakout from the formation will be this short-lived or if its still got some gas in the tank. I don't know if you ever do gap analysis or not, but that was my main question. I saw a gap formed yesterday and didn't know if that meant the stock will continue to go up or is at the end of it's formation. From the sound of it, you think that the breakout from the formation is over, but since it's a good company that in the long term it will continue to do well.
