Pretty cheap at $9.95 per year I think.
I found that one year freebie and signed up. So now I have two sets of userids and passwords, one for the year of freebies and another for my two week trial. Today, before I joined, in the main section they made four recommendations, three longs and a short each with a buy stop (sell stop for the short). None of them triggered. In another briefer section they made one buy recommendation which buy stop triggered by .04. I'm looking forward to seeing how the trades go. Lots of learning vehicles there it seems.

Glad you found the 1 year freebie. Here's another freebie. A daily letter from SFO magazine (Stock, Futures, Options). They put out a daily newsletter that covers everything that happenes ovenight in the markets worldwide and give it to you very early every morning. Quite informative. Here is the link to get to it if you're interested.

Another good one is from Barchart.com. The link is [email protected]. Same basic format but all the overnight market news very early in the morning.
Both of these letters have an abundance of info on everything from equities, futures, and all the commodities plus the news of what happenned overnight in the markets.

Thank you. I get the SFO mag at home once a month but never got the online stuff.

Both of them just started the daily newsletters within the past month or so. I signed up for both just to see what they were going to be about. Easy to unsubscribe if it doesn't do it for you. Both for free.

FWIW...I have seen the Pristine Trader presentation on the "Sell at 40sma and Buy at 20sma" a few times at Money Shows and Trader's Expos...Does it work???...Heck if I know...But IMO you need to develop your own style...There is so much info out there...In fact TOO MUCH...But IMO you will not read about the best systems...There will be no seminars....You take what you can get and develop your own...Be FLEXIBLE...ADAPT to the conditions...What worked last month may not work next month...But it may work 3 months from now...NEVER FORGET....Best, Doug(IIC)

I'm trying to teach myself the "easy language code" and have just downloaded the Easy Language Code Converter for Tradesmart Genetic Optimizer v1.0. Anyone familiar with this program. I think that the converter can also be used with the Excel program. I could use some help from anyone familiar or who would like to take a look at writing this code for trading purposes.

Yes Dave. I downloaded the code converter for their EasyLanguage.
I'm trading with Options Express and they don't give the ability to write code for backtesting, indicators, or setups. I'm just trying to get the basics of the use of EasyLanguage. If I paste the code into the converter it will change it genetically into something I can place into a chart to set up indicators or buy and sell points. Take a look at this address. It is the site where I downloaded the code converter for EasyLanguage. Do you write your own codes or have any experience with doing it?

                  • It helps if you know how to program in Pascal, which is what Easy Language is based upon. I've written simple EL code but that's about it.

Well I've got plenty of time to pick up what I can and try to get it into this code converter. I'll let you know how it goes. There are free tuturials on line for everything. I'll find something. Thanx Dave.

                        Ski,
Can you give me a quick education on pre-stressed concrete and the theory behind it ? Doesn't seem that it should work. Thanks

Billy, if this doesn't answer all your questions, it should at least give you a good start.

                                Rob,

"Prestressing tendons generally of high tensile steel cable or rods are used to provide a clamping load which produces a compressive stress that offsets the tensile stress the concrete member would otherwise experience". Gee thanks Rob. Remember it took me a year to figure out what a cup w/saucer pattern was.
