  • Ski, I got NJR in a test port. Only reason it made the port was because it was making new highs.. Can’t argue with utilities as they have been doing very well.

      Runner,
Forgot to mention my position in HSOA: back in at $5.62 and looking for $7.50/8. I like the stock and don't really believe all that stuff Stocklemon.com has put out about the company. They got listed on the Nasdaq anyway and probably wouldn't have gotten listed if they weren't on the up and up. Reporting earnings sometime before Aug. 15. I thought it was going off alittle there in the morning yesterday but no cigar although it did hold some yesterday. I might be wishing in one hand and shitting in the other here to see which one fills up first with this one.

NJR is a great stock. I've already expressed all it attributes twice here. It's a great stock for any retirement portfolio or long term play.

          • Possible Intraday P/B taking place in HSOA. Looking at possible long 1 tick above last high. The orange line needs to hold...

              Being Rational About Graphics

Skiracer, I gave New-born a ration about screwing up the forum layout by his posting graphics greater than 700 pixels in width. In the interests of being a fair and balanced ration-giver, I'm hereby giving you a ration: Why do you insist on screwing up the forum layout by posting graphics greater than 700 pixels in width? There's nothing I like better than having to use the horizontal scroll bar, at the bottom of the browser, to scroll the Web page back and forth in order to read what someone posted. (I could maximize the browser, but then it hides my streaming intraday charts, a virtually non-existant option.)

                Rob,
While you're out hammering violators, would you mind scolding Peanuts for posting too wide on Hot Pick of the Day? He's a great guy; he's just too wide.

NBB, I saw that. 1024px wide. Tsk, tsk. I already "suggested" that he not do that.

I know that in the past I have violated those regulations on occassion. Not on purpose to piss Rob off but by accident. I thought that I haven't done that in a while but I'll make sure that I don't do it again in the future. You're doing a great job Rob. Thanks for everything you do here an I'll try to abide by whatever you want me to do. It's all groovy.

Nice-looking chart on BVX, Ski. I'd like to ask, since you like to include those Wilder Parabolic indicators on your charts, I'm curious: do you trade on those?

I rely on them to a fairly large degree along with a couple of others. I like the Accum/distrib, RSI, Chalkin Money Flow, and On Balance Volume indicators. I usually don't show the indicators on the charts I put up because they take up alot of space. All together they give me a picture of what I'm looking for or not looking for. I also use the Raff Regression Channel alot and the moving averages, ema 20 and 50 and 200 MA's are important. In answer to your question I wouldn't make a trade on just the Parabolic indicators. They change rather quickly as the stock fluctuates in price.

Actually now that I think about it I bought HSOA when the parabolic indicator was showing sell.

                                Rob,
Somehow I put the HSOA chart up for the KNOL chart by mistake. How do I delete the HSOA chart? Can you help me please.
