Thanks guys, I needed that. Actually in that last paragraph I was only mimicking Jim Smith. ECOL has been a nice play for me. I have to acknowledge and thank Lye for bringing it to my attention when he asked me what my thoughts on it were in a recent post of his. I just like to see everyone do well and profit from all of our posts. Spike I'm tracking VLTS. Love it and just waiting for a re-entry soon.

It could be a nice play once it breaks into that clear area above resistance. Big institutional buying in the recent past few months. Time will tell. Thanks Runner. How did the work outage effect you guys down in Geogia? Everything stopped up here.

        Ski,
It looks as if momentum is building for ECOL . It's kinda like a Miss America pageant when the favored contestant declares all she wants is world piece, I mean peace. Just 5 recommendations will make it the first stock in my investment club. We don't have to get every dollar out of it since we plan on holding 6 months plus...Quasi

Well let me give you a tip!! Don't buy the open!! Twice now for the POTW I've been burnt on an unlucky opening price!

And if you're game, use mental stops. It's a low volume thing still and I'm sure the specialist moves it around pretty easy. It actually set my alert off as it traded below my entry point on low volume and it was pretty quickly supported again and thereafter. Nearly faked me out. But it's still in the bag and I happily note it's trading up $3.86 after hours...so tomorrow may be impulse time.

            Quasi,
I would definitely recommend it as an investment club pick. I own it an intend on holding it until $29/30 range.

I've been pretty fortunate now that I'm acting as the construction mgr. on these two projects. I have a nice 10 x 36 office trailer set up on one site and have everything in it to make things comfortable. I've got the Quotetracker platform up and running during the trading hours an it's right there in front of me so everything I own and that is on my watchlists is there. Except for the constant stream of phone calls and people needing to discuss bids an other construction stuff I'm in heaven. I like my home office but this is really much more comfortable even with the distractions. I'm keeping a close eye on VLTS. I agree with you that this one could impulse up anytime soon. Good luck. Ed

Did you look at ACTU?.... Maybe listen to the latest CC.

Also look at GEHL dude. (And listen to their latest CC too) I'm out right now but I want to own it again. What are your thoughts about a good entry?

                    Lye,
Sorry I haven't been able to get back to you on ACTU yet. I've been swamped with schedules and bid proposals from last night to right now an am still swamped. I'll take a look as soon as I can get to it. Lots of things going on with these two sites right now and a couple of things that need attention are really pressing. Just wanted to let you guys know I wasn't overlooking ya. You to NB. I'll get to all three sometime between now an after dinner. Ed

                      Lye,
Sorry about not getting back to you sooner. Very busy. I like ACTU. I liked the strength it showed yesterday intraday on the 15 min. chart. If it breaks that neckline on that inverted head and shoulders at around $4.50 on the daily it could roll. I like the weekly on it also. Nice long cup and handle base that it's coming out of now. Lots of heavy institutional accumulation coming into it over the past couple of months. I like it if it breaks $4.50. Another thing that I like about a stock is that if the RS is steadily increasing over the past 6 mos. which has been going on with ACTU.
I'm putting ACTU on my watchlist.

I don't like GEHL for the opposite reasoning. Declining RS over the past 6 mos. Not to say that it won't move up from here. I don't see anything in either the daily or weekly that attracts me.

                      NB,
Sorry but I don't buy stocks this high priced or play with selling and buying calls and puts like you do. I don't find the stock attractive at these prices not to say that some option play wouldn't work out. Looks like alot of buying volume coming into the stock over the last few weeks. I think it could consolidate some short term but will continue to track up from here.

Thanks for your response Ed. My target entry on GEHL is about $28.50.

Just an update on my three picks over the last week or so. I hold positions in these three:

ECOL: in from $25.50: closed today at $26.86. Up $1.36. I love this stock and still feel confident it will go over $30. I watch the volume bars on the intraday everyday on my positions and this one is tracking up even though there is a decent group exiting. OBV, A/D,and Chaiken Money Flow lines all tracking steadily up. Up 1.36 since my entry last week. I'm holding this one until it hits $30.00.

FLOW: I love this stock as much as ECOL. Up another .63 today. I'm in at $13.60. Closed today at $14.63. Revising my target to $18.00/$18.50 from $16.00/$17.00 range. This could easily go to $20 with a decent earnings report. Big institutionsal accumulation over the last few months. They don't buy in unless they know something. Up $1.13 from my entry this week.

PETS: In at $14.40 and closed today at $15.68. Up $1.28 for the week.

Anyone looking at these three or taking any positions.

I like FLOW and feel so confident in it that I am going to recommend it for the Quasi-Ernie fund.

                          • Great job Ski, I got my eye on FLOW it seems to have moved above the monthly R-line and is beginning to clear the base (daily). I might go long on first pull back. I hope the momentum continues..

                              Runner,
Now that is interesting. I very seldom ever look at a monthly chart. Your post made me take a look. It seems to have closed above any resistance which could provide for clear sailing now that that ceiling should become support on that chart. It is in overbought territory on the RSI indicator on the monthly. I do like this stock. Any pullback would provide a nice entry on t his one.

                              • Exactly SKI and this is where I hope to pick some up. I like first pullbacks out of a base. I can then gauge the break out. I’ve been looking over longer-term charts now in my analyses. Now ideally I’d like for the break out investors to move in and push this stock higher. If this move is for real it should not fall back into the base.. We shall see soon enough. You did a fine job anticipating this move.
