Like I said...I am not going to get into this immigrant work thing here...But...What I wonder about is why some people think that people who don't speak English are stupid???...Nothing could be further from the truth...I imagine that is one of the main reasons that most of the world hates Americans.

PS...Billy...It was not the Brazilian students fault from what I can tell from your story...It was the owner's fault...He/she was probably trying to save some bux...If he was going to try to line his pockets by being cheap then he should have had all the training presented in Portuguese. The owner of that water park sounds like a person I would never respect.

My very best friend doesn't speak a whole lot of English...But she is smarter than I am...I knew that right off the bat...I told her when we first met that "Who would seem dumb if I was in your home country"? After that we got a long fine...If we have to explain something to each other 10 times before the other one understands...Not a problem...Doug

It's not a matter of being smart or stupid with me right now. These Brazilian framers who are working for my framing sub-contractor are doing a great job technically speaking and work from dawn to dusk 6 days a week. I guess I should be happy with leaving well enough alone. What I have a grievance with is the direction this illegal immigrant thing is going and how it is effecting our country. There are alot of immigrants coming in both legally and illegally. Regardless of whichever way they get here I want to see them become Americans first and maintain their ethic personalities second. I don't want to see my country become something else to appease some other group an I don't want to see anyone holding this country under their thumb for whatever reasons. If you come here I want to see whoever it may be become Americans first and to abide by what rules we all have to live with. If they can't live with that or feel they have to change our country to be more in line with what they are used to or want it to be then I don't want them here an I feel we should send them back to where they came from if they can't live with those ground rules. The reason everyone wants to come to America is because this is the best place to live free and raise your family. We should be a little more steadfast in holding to our way of life an our values instead of worrying about being politically correct for the appeasement of any group of immigrants.
It's getting to be that the inmates are running the asylum.

          Ski and Grebnet,
Hope you stayed in HOM or got back in along the way. Two recent announcements concerning deals with Home Depot and today's 20 mil contract for Katrina work make it look like a continued run for this stock. The CEO also said the release of federal funds should keep them going strong until at least the end of '06.

            Billyjoe,
I've been out of it for awhile now. But nice moves lately and that news this am certainly is going to provide some strength. Glad to see that you are still holding. Good luck with it.

                grebnet,
Good job. I haven't quite hit 100% yet. Was getting kind of jumpy last few days but recent news looks very encouraging. CHB also seems to finally be profiting from the Katrina effect. Any other sub $10-$15 stocks looking good to you right now? EGY continues to do well for me and TLF is also moving in the last few days. Thanks

                  sub 10

Im out of CHB and EGY got out a little early but made good $ on both. Ive looket at TDF several times but just didnt like the idea of buying Tandy leather( a bias from childhood) .
Ive got a lot of sub 10 stocks but wouldnt encourage purchasing now. I sold TGB and NXG recently for healthy profits and will buy back on pullbacks. Also sold SIM last week for great profit only to see it jump 1.30 on monday....oh well..im watching that one also. I am holding CHID.ob and GV both with large % gains .
Have high hopes for GNTA CAMH NCNC and YHGG and TIII all have a nice chance of 100 % gains or losses so their only for strong stomachs.

OK thats enough of my ramblings.

I posted a couple of charts on these two stocks on different occassions an except for Webs post saying ECOL looked very bullish no response. It doesn't matter but ECOL is up 1.81 since that post. Take a look at the daily on this stock. It was down over 1 point yesterday and came back with a vengenance. Up 1.81 today to close at $27.31. Still confident and looking for over $30. I'm in from $25.50. Still plenty of gas left in this stock and time to get in on this move up.

FLOW has had some very heavy institutional accumulation recently, over 5 million shares, an might have finished it's handle of that cup base today. Up .31 today coming out of that handle. Looking for a breakout soon an expect this stock to go to $16/17 range very soon. I'm in from $13.60. Still early and time to get in on this one. Check out the daily and weekly charts.

I mentioned PETS when it was in the $9 range and have traded in an out of it as it went to $12/13 and then to $16/17 and then to over $20 just like I said. Been taking a beating over the last couple of weeks. This is the same stock that has been growing great market share an earnings over the past 2 qtrs. Traders in from the $14.50 range have been taking out hugh profits over the last couple of weeks. I bought it today at $14.45 when it filled that gap area between $14.50 and $15. Take a look at the daily. I think it has bottomed and will provide a nice bounce back to $20 area if you are that patient. Otherwise my target is $16.50 range over the next 3 - 10 days.

Geez, I'm almost complaining that no one is looking at these stocks or what I'm posting here. I feel like Jim Smith.

                      Ski,
I agree with you on ECOL . Maybe Quasi can use it in his new portfolio.

                      • Nice picks SKI. If flow can pop the monthly R-line it might get interesting. It would also be in new high turf with clear sailing..??

Ski you know that I only read five star threads.... Well now that my thread has been busted I guess I can read your thread now.

I posted about ECOL for a few months and nobody seemed to like it. I think most people just have their own stuff going on. As for ECOL. I love this company Ed. I bought back a smaller position about the time you were buying it. I think it goes about 4-6% higher before retracing. I'll post more of my thoughts on it later. What do you think of ACTU?
