As I mentioned I like 0ZRK better...but BBD will make Ernie his 15%...If for no other reason than the group is on fire right now...and it will carry BBD w/ it...IIC

Here is how my database has them grouped....

BBD is in the "Bank (Foreign)" sector and it is ranked #2....

OZRK is in the "Bank (Southeast)" sector and it is ranked #8....

FRGB is in the "Bank (West/Swst)" sector and it is ranked #7....

Thanks Dave...Foreign Banks are #4 in my my groups...on a week timeframe though as of last night.

BTW...I subscribe to Barron's Print and Online...I admit that I only read certain portions...But I never heard of the Barron's 200...Where is it?...Thx...Doug(IIC)

Doug, I use Vector-Vest ProGraphics v6.0 and ProTrader Graphs.

They list a total of 190 different industry groups. You can sort them many different ways including which industries are the best (or worst) overall performers at any given time.

Hey Doug!.... Do you get the feeling that this forum is a just boring as hell lately dude? What's going on? I just ain't having fun here like I used to. Spike has basically split, Ski has quit, Webs is bored, I'm bored, Jiesen posts about once a week, I guess the rest of the regular old timers are over at Spikes Blog or private Group or something. Ernie's even bored and rarely posts anymore. Heck, Since Scifos started ignoring me I can't even pick a decent fight here anymore! This just sucks!....lol

I cannot speak for anyone here...But I quit 5 other forums in the past 2 weeks...I intend to stay here because this is one of the few forums I like...But I have found at some other forums that even though the markets are up...many have not done well and they fade off into cyberspace...I've been in forums for over 8 years and have seen 1,000's come and go...I've met over 60 of them in person...but through it all there are only a few that I've kept in contact with for years...Maybe it just goes in cycles???...Best, Doug

I can only speak for myself and don't know what anyone else is doing or why either. Lately I've felt that things have changed regarding the dialogue about stocks and trading from what it has been in the past. Don't know the reasons for that either. I havene't quit altogether and don't feel that will happen with me but the interest level certainly has lessened for me which I guess is the reason for my positing less than usual. Don't know how to rectify it either. Maybe Doug is right with his thoughts on this is how things evolve over time. For my part it has nothing to do with whether or not I'm doing well with my trading as nothing has changed on that front. It seems to be more about the nature of the posts or something. The desire to carry on conversational dialogue about stocks and trading seems to have disappeared.

I agree with what IIC is saying about how groups of posters at sites come a go. One place I was very active in for about a year and a half I left about a year ago because everybody I knew and enjoyed were either run off by new people who where abusive or lost interest.

Another factor could be that the board has grown so Huge (no pun intended) lately. There are a whole lot of new users and big, big increase in the number of threads. I think the board has transitioned from a smal group of MrMarket enthusiasts into a broader-spectrum kind of place, and that turns some people off.

Like anything else, things ebb and flow. I've been kind of busy at home and that keeps me from posting as much as I would like. Fear not, I love this forum.

Want to learn the science of Elliott Wave, TA, and FA? You can grab it all right here.

Want to learn options trading? I admit this is the weakest link here, and that's because I haven't worked at posting more stuff for the forum. But at least somebody could ask a specific question and get some kind of an answer.

And do you want all this information on a forum where you can ask questions at every level of learning and get a polite and considerate answer? This is the most civil board I know of. And if anyone isn't civil and kind, he learns that skill here, too.
