Ski, I sold the remaining shares of ENER today @ 38.55 average. Turns out I could have done better, though.
My average buy price was 43.36 on 3/13. I sold 1/3 back on 4/4 for 47.04. So my average sales price for the whole shootin' match was @ 41.38. And the loss doesn't look as bad. But at least it's off my books at long last.

Last Friday Whiz bought MED at 13.36 and I thought to myself that he was a little premature on the buy and put it off as youth and impatience with a little chuckle thinking he should have waited until Monday being Fridays are usually take the money and run days. Today I bought MED at 13.58 and by the end of the day I recalled my previous thoughts and felt kind of foolish. Although we're both down I'm down farther than Whiz. There has to be some kind of a lesson in there don't ya think. A very light day with not too much going on in these ports. Here's todays sheet:

AAPL - Riverbabe
River,
I hear that Apple's iTunes sales are decreasing based on credit card sales analysis.
TA leads me to think that it is going lower.
I just wanted to share, I don't have a position in it, but I remeber that you do and I thought you might want a heads-up
btw: The mail hasn't come yet, today, but I still don't have that XBOX 360 you promised meHide not your talents.
They for use were made.

I haven't figured out how to set any alerts for fundamentals, have you?
Let me pull up my alerts...lets see,,,,I've got 40.4 as my alert. Glancing at the charts I see that its coiling and getting ready for a big move, too early to say in which direction but its leaning towards an upside breakout in my eye.
I've perhaps given you guys the wrong impression...its not that I don't care for TA, I love tits and ass.

Very light action in these ports today. Peanuts had the only trade today with his ANDE play. He might have been better off staying away today but the chart looks good and if the pattern holds, and I think it will replicate what has been going on in the past, he will catch the next spike up tomorrow or Thursday. Good luck Peanuts. Nothing else happening today. Here's the sheet without any changes except for Peanuts and his one entry.

Today:
* Bought DISCA @ $16.75
All-time high breakout yesterday, fades today in the afternoon of course. The action this morning looked very good. Lots of size on the bid with small ask size, stock rising. Lesson: You do practically everything right, it can still go wrong on you, so be prepared.
* Sold ACAS @ $44.58 +4.5% (2.5% apprec. plus 2.0% div gain ($0.88 on $43.50/sh buy)), 19 days in market
Stock turned pretty sleepy lately.
(on 12/08 ) Bought THI @ 29.70, avg cost now 30.20
This is a drawdown so far, but stock's taking its first dip to the 50DMA since that line turned upward in Oct this year.
Look at NSTC, I sell it on 12/01, and 4 days later it pops. Same thing with ALNY in October. This has been my story since June. Very frustratingLast edited by Guest; 12-13-2006, 02:01 AM.
