I'm adding another portfolio to the sheet. ParkTwain has put up a few of the stocks he owns and is now on the sheet with his port. Park will be a welcome addition the the list of ports on this thread. He's serious about his trading and presents his thoughts on the subject matter thoroughly and precisely. Thanks for joining the group Park and I'm looking forward to tracking your plays. It makes it so much easier for anyone interested in following what others are doing to be able to go right to a spot and see all the portfolios with the open positions right in front of their eyes.
Alot of action and trading today. Whiz and I closed out our positions in MED today with two very nice gains. Glad you got out at where you did today Whiz. You are becoming quite the trader since you started hanging out at MM's place. I think this pullback in MED is a normal consolidation of recent gains and will present another level for re-entry. I would love to see it fall to 13/13.50 level in this pullback. I still feel it will move up to 18/20 range before this recent uptrend runs out of gas and I want to be in on it. But you must be patient and wait for it to make a bottom somehwere under todays closing price of 14.00. I also took advantage of this mornings brief sell-off in WYNN for an entry at 91.30. I thought that was a gift and wasn't expecting to see that level again after yesterdays push up.
Riverbabe was at it again with 5 new positions taken today. AAPL, OMG, HOS, MEOH, and CELL. The way she has been going I think it would be a good thing to take a close look at these 5 plays.
As everyone has heard me say before there is an open invitation to anyone interested in placing their portfolio here for viewing by the forum membership. All you have to do is post them and I'll take care of the rest. Here is todays sheet:

No, I just resized the sheet from yesterday which apparently was to large because Karel thumbnailed it. The sheet you see is the one from yesterday. I haven't done tonights sheet yet. I was just getting ready to do it.

I closed my position in WYNN out this morning. Sometimes you just read them wrong. As I was watching it I kept getting the feeling it was struggling to stay in the green today. I figured it was better to take the money off the table since it was up almost 7 points since I first mentioned it and almost 4 points from my initial entry. I hate buying stocks that are this high priced thus the half position in WYNN. I could have gotten another point out of it as it continued up after my exit like it was waiting for me to get out first. But it turned out to be a pretty good trade even though I missed my first entry point at 89+ and exited somewhat earlier than I should have. Peanuts closed out his trade in LOGI for a nice 2 point gain. I must say that on the whole this is a great group of traders and everyone of these picks in these ports are worth taking a close look at for their potential. A much lighter day than yesterday as far as trades made for the day. Haven't heard from Gatorman or Ninner in a while although Gator has been playing the POTW on a regular basis. Check in Gatorman and update your port if there are any changes. You to Ninner. Here's todays sheet:

                    • Ski, you might want to ask participants to report the number of days each closed position had been held. I track this for my own trades across a calendar year. A previous $$MM$$ board participant once said that he uses a time stop as well as a price stop in deciding whether to exit a nonperforming position.

                        Park,
I like that idea and was thinking to myself that since I had an open column under each participants name that I could put each positions entry date, and probable could fit the exit dates somewhere, right there. As each position is closed I do that gain loss percentage thing for each closed position and I could include the time held somewhere. Good idea and I'm going to incorporate it into the sheet. Thanks Park.

                            Park,

I use time-stops for my ST trades. On the ones that really count, I ask myself a list of questions that I have about the way I want to approach the stock... holding time is one of those questions. It is very helpful
