Well...I was hoping Nebraska would kick Rutgers butt in the Texas Bowl...But it appears that the Big Red will be playing a Yet-To-Be-Named SEC team...Probably Auburn or Arkansas in the Cotton Bowl...Actually, that was a done deal (NU-OU loser) before the game, but I didn't know it...Doug

Nebraska didn't look that good against Oklahoma. I thought they would have played a better game or even won the game but I think that Oklahome exposed them and some of their weaknesses. But Nebraska is showing some signs of getting back to their old Tom Osborne form.

So I called it...Rutgers going to the Texas Bowl... vs. KS-St...What a Yawner!!!...Big Red plays Auburn in the Cotton...Should be a good match up.

        O. St. vs. FL...Not much of a contest IMO.

              SKIRACER,
what is your opinion on MED? looks to me like it either jumps tommorow or we have a one or two day pullbak on our hands. Imo that the pullback is more probable. I should probably hold through . . . but I may not be able to resist the temptation to take profits.

              Anyway, would appreciate your thoughts.

I like it to go over 15 and maybe to 18 or so. I would advise patience at this point. You're right about a consolidation of gains and a pullback. There may be an opportunity to exit with your gains at this level and re-enter on the pullback if it happens that way. Right now, today, I think it goes higher and then we'll see a pullback afterwards. Profits are always hard to come by and they are better off in your pocket than giving back. It's a hard call but it never hurts to take the gains and you can always re-enter. Remember 16 to 19 is the same as 13 to 16. They are just numbers and when the trend is strong in one direction that's the way to go. Right now MED is in a strong uptrend and could go back to it's previous highs with a few valleys interspersed inbetween the peaks. Give it some thought as to what you think but actually see happening and play it that way. Good luck.

                  Ener

Have decided to stay with ENER for now. A lot of insider buying and a new contract for Cobasys (joint venture between Chevron and ENER) to supply new batteries for the first GM Saturn hybrid sedan are positives that bode well for holding this stock for a while longer. Riverbabe

They very seldom buy their own stock unless they know something and that it is going to do well. I love to see this type of explanation accompanying a decision on a position. It plants the seed for more dialogue. Thanks River.

                          Whizzy,

I know you asked Ski, but MED seems to be selling off this morning. This may just be profit-taking. You should be able to buy it lower in the future. I think....

If it breaksdown through $13.30, I'd be worried about a larger drop

Probably a very wise decision, imho.

                                Ski,

I just bought CSX @ $36.50. I really like transportation at this time. I know some things about Chinese export taxes which would have made 4th Q profits higher than anticipated for overseas shippers and the trickle-down effect on major railroad operators. I liked CP and CSX charts, but CSX was the first to make its move, so I bought it.
