    Ski,
You've come up with another winner in NYB. Held down by bad press effecting most financial institutions this bank has an excellent 4 star rating by Bauer Financial along with 17% projected 12 month forward earnings increase and 15% sales increase last 12 months. Throw in a 6.3% dividend with the great technicals and this baby should see at least 20 with no problem. Thanks for bringing NYB to our attention.

Well you and everyone else can very easily wooish. i bought a subscription to a outfit called "Snagit". i think now the subscription costs $39.95 and it is a one time fee and you get the updates free for the remainder of your subscription. with it you can take a number of different types of screen shots and add annotations and do hundreds of other things with it including saving every screenshot you take in their system if you want and then bring them back up at your convenience. i use it for this and numerous other instances in all of my businesses. it is very easy to use. then you go to imageshack.com and, which is a free upload site, and register and you can use all their free tools to upload and bring any of your screen shots to this forum very easily. you can take the screenshots with your own computers printscreen but it is time consuming and a pain in the ass. with snagit it and imageshack it takes very little time to take a capture of anything or a chart and then upload it to imageshack and download it here. the hardest part is going to Snagit and paying the $39.95 and registering the product. so if you really want to post charts like i have been doing here that is all you have to do. i make alot of money with the stocks and it seems foolish for anyone making money doing this not to have the best and easiest way available to do it. i dont know what you do for a living but i am involved in several businesses and i have found that i am using snagit more and more everyday to send images of what i am talking about to my customers and other associates. you know what they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. then of course you have to be able to understand and interpret the technical aspects of reading charts and their patterns to be able to annotate them correctly which is alot harder than buying the subscription, taking a screenshot and uploading it, and then downloading it here. but i dont think you would have a problem with doing any of that. any questions about any of this just ask.

I work in the IT industry so I have Snagit. It's not the tool that I mentioned, it's the charting and analysis skill that I envied. No doubt, a technician is as good as its tool but even with the right tool, if the technician is not good the tool is not maximized. I just think u're a great chartist and analyst

          Billy,
thanks for noticing it billy. take a look a barchart.com and see their rating. it's as good as i have ever seen for a stock. very strong right now. still cheap today at this level. and i noticed that NJR made a move back above $35 again. i saw an article yesterday where there is high interest from Asia in our natural gas stocks. cant hurt us if they are interested in investing in our natural gas plays. NJR should benefit from that.

thank you wooish. i appreciate your noticing. i've been at it for awhile and it all will come with time and experience. plus i love it and spend alot of time, much to my wife's consternation, with the stocks and charts. not to build myself up but if you follow my charts i'm sure that you will be able to pick up on what i am putting out there. and if you ever have any questions please never be put off with asking what or why i feel the way i do. i love it and i would never not help someone who is sincerely interested. plus i'll never give you a bum steer.

Just an update on 3 positions that i posted charts on several days ago on pg. 282. I own WBS from $13.05 and it is currently at $16.02. I own VSH from $7.75 and it is currently at $10.12. why i never made the trades on NEWP and AEIS i don't know but when i posted the charts on both of them NEWP was at $9.31 and is currently trading at $10.38 and AEIS was at $13.39and is currently trading at $15.31. You cannot buy them all but you can watch them all and these two are definitely worth paying some attention to for possible entries on any pullbacks which would be the normal course of events. yesterday i posted a chart and explanation on NYB which i bought yesterday morning at $15.75 and is currently trading at $15.88. NYB is a very strong bank stock with some of the strongest fundamentals i have come across in a stock in some time. it is definitely worth a look at this level. although the markets are somewhat confused about the direction they want to track i am long in these three positions without clearly knowing or the markets showing any distinct market trend which is contrary to my usual thoughts on how and when i take specific positions. i will be the first one to tell you that it can be very dangerous to do this unless you are a seasoned trader who has access to your screens and trading platform in case you have to make any hasty exits if the markets tank abruptly on some economic or political news. i am usually in front of my screens all day so i have that advantage going for me. preset stops are also a way to protect yourself and your trades if you cannot be there physically to protect yourself but again if you are not a seasoned trader that practice can be more detrimental than positive with your trades.
anyway the point i am trying to make here is that these setups and trades are well thought out and definitely have the timing and edge leaning in their favor. you should know that you should never take anyones word for it and to do your own due diligence before making any trades but these stocks are worth consideration if they have been posted here and the edge is certainly in their favor.

My friend also told me to be careful about market today similar to what you stated above. I sold out SFI and BUCY today to lock in profit. I'm also selling 1/3 of ACLS. I'm holding some cash waiting for opportunity to buy cheap shares. I have a feeling tomorrow and Friday will be red.

I sold out of VSH today @ 10.21 (bot @ 8.51). It's finding R @ weekly 200 dma (10.23) and the buyers are dropping off. Will buy in again when it pulls back or breaks strongly above 10.23.

i hope that's not premature exitation on your part river. still plenty of gas left in that trade. but then again if the market heads down you might just get back in cheaper but i don't think at $8.51. btw, i thought you said you were in at $8.10 in an earlier post.
I got your email but couldn't open it or get it to do what you said to do. but thanks for thinking of me. i know that you always are.

                      Wooish,
the service that i subscribe to and that the earlier post regarding market direction came from also provides their subscribers a weekly extended day by day forecast on how they feel the markets will perform. this week monday, although a holiday, was very bullish, tuesday was bullish, wednesday neutral, thursday bearish, and friday very bearish. so you and riverbabe might just be right in how you are playing it.

Yes yes yes. It was $8.10. Momentary senior lapse. All you had to do was click on the cartoon and then anywhere to create your garden. You expected something more sophisticated? lol

I'm in NYB at 15.70. Thanks for finding it. Your track record along with the techs and fundies made this too good to pass up.
