I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. ABAX: well, what I didn't really want to see; an intraday double top at hod resistance. One thing is for sure; if it cracks it it really should fly. I probably should run the numbers and see where we stand relative to our respected FAers, for I fear their antics have them in the red on average and handed us the lead. In the spirit of sportsmanship, and in the belief that the broadening pattern intraday and all the rest of the bullish stuff in those charts justfies holding, I'm going to let this ride, and see if the Lord above will smile on us unworthy TA souls.
hmmm, I see that. I guess we really should have just sat on the cash for the win... but this is only making it interesting. Let's see how it plays out in the next 2 hours, and whether mimo's GIL has what it takes to drive us home.

If you want to make it interesting Jiesen.... Double down on BMD right now.
yeah, spike it was a market order, and no I didn't have my L2 quotes open at the time, so I went by the Yahoo! RTQ which was 5.01 at the time. if you say it's 5.13 I guess we'll accept that.

well, I'm off to lunch- so no more trading today for the FA team. we'll see how it turns out. Just in case there's any lucky spiking going on I'll set some limit sells here:
well, it's a pretty tight competition right now. After that disappointing breakout failure of ABAX the TA team here is average total -2.7% for the comp while the FA picks have bitten the dust today, after being +2.5% earlier today, have fallen to total average of -1.76% or so. They still have the lead, but they are in a very vulnerable position indeed. It is coming down to the wire, and if there ARE any interested watchers of this, the last 20 minutes direction will be the decider. Our ABAX looks ready to rally off an afternoon intraday double bottom, and BMD is struggling to find itself a solid bottom. Both teams need those 2 picks to perform well to take the crown. As I type BMD is rallying well off a potential V bottom with 13 mins to go.
yuk, this contest has truly degenerated on day 2. it went from a contest of well-thought out plans, to a second day of one-upmanship just trying to see which team could lose the least. I must applaud my team, though for the perfect 100% participation.
I'll say it's definitely been educational, as well as entertaining, and I can't wait to see how it turns out in the next 10 minutes.
