Bought my EWA. Just put in an order to short PPH.

Just put PPH (which I never heard of before this evening) in my standard Stockcharts chart...Technically it looks pretty bad...Could be nice for you Louetta

Tatnic and I talked about NYA about post 1120 and you joined in.

I talked about HSOA (1125) then we talked about options (1127-1134).

I mentioned the oil price (1132).

I mentioned I bougt EWA (1139) and will try to short PPH and I should add I put in a buy for ICF.

So there actually is some stock talk amidst the fray.

We'll see if there are shares available. I deal through Schwab and have had a tough time shorting some of the country stocks like EWA, EWC. They ought to have the holders available I would think but I won't be surprised if I get cancelled in the AM.

I see your beloved Pats won...We don't even have a team in LA...When I was in Jr. HS and HS my Dad and I went to every Rams home game...He worked for the owner of the Rams, Dan Reeves, who also happened to own a stock brokerage...We sat right on the 50. I went away to college...Dan died...Rams moved to Anaheim and my dad got screwed on the tix...After one season he gave up the tix at Anaheim on the 10 yd line...I like college football better...BTW, how's Harvard doing this year?...Just checked...6-1...not bad.

I don't know Lou. The humans from up North say they come down here to vacation and then they wind up staying, don't know why the northern deer would be any different.

deer do migrate some, but not hundreds of miles. They'll move to find food. Southern deer would never make it if transplanted to northern maine or michigan, they're too small (they need lots of body weight to last through the cold winters with deep snow). But they would be good coyote food.

MOSCOW (Dow Jones)--U.S.-listed CTC Media Inc. (CTCM), which operates Russia's CTC and Domashny television networks, Tuesday said its third-quarter net profit jumped more than fourfold on the year as new legislation helped push up advertising rates.
Net profit for the three months ended Sept. 30 under U.S. GAAP accounting principles was $8.4 million compared with $1.9 million the previous year. Revenue surged 48% to $70.9 million.
"Our results reflect our success in consistently delivering our target demographics to advertisers and converting our audience shares into robust revenue growth," CTC Media's Chief Executive Alexander Rodnyansky said in a statement.
New rules limiting the amount of advertising TV channels can air per hour came into force July 1, forcing rates for ad slots higher.
The combined audience share of CTC and Domashny fell to 11.6% between July and September from 13.0% in the second quarter, as CTC's most-popular series, the daily soap opera "Born Not Pretty," drew to a close in July.
CTC is Russia's fourth most-watched channel.
Net profit was down on the second quarter, when CTC Media posted $34.1 million. Analysts stressed, however, that the third-quarter is traditionally a slow one for TV companies as many Russians leave the country for the summer holidays and generally spend less time indoors.
CTC Media, which raised around $380 million in an initial public offering on Nasdaq in May, reiterated its full-year revenue guidance of $360 million to $385 million.
Revenue for the first nine months of the year stood at $252.9 million.
CTC Media's shares closed 4.5% lower Monday at $25.52.

Well...I would've been impressed if you'd have gotten an interview w/ Kerry...Maybe you could've set him straight...The guy is an idiot IMO. He says he won't apologize...I know he was making a jab at Bush...I have no problem with that...But he says that people don't understand his joke...Well, he is an idiot if he thinks the IRAQ War is a joke. I'm a Republican who thinks Bush is handling it poorly...But I hardly think IRAQ is a joke...Maybe we should send Kerry on a ride w/ Kennedy in Chappaquiddick...See if he thinks that's a joke too
