Scanda you did well ....according to a program I have APKT closed Friday 4/30/10 at $26.14 .....ADD to your position if APKT Hits $27.75 , and set a stop at $19.85.......Take it for what it is worth. Hopefully these guide lines will help you! Good Luck Pete!

Up 24% on Friday, not too bad. Just made my Uptrenders list. Usually the stocks creep into the list. This one blasted in. keep up the good work.

With the Oil Spill, attempted bombing in NYC, so many events can effect an already jittery market but, SOME stocks still continue to rise. Caution is advised but stock futures are UP this morning so where the markets go from here is anyone's guess!

Mr M ALXA Gets my Vote!

Which one do you like best of these, Pedro?

Reasons for MY Vote!

1. They do have several drugs in the pipeline.
2. ALXA appears to be under accumulation .....even though the markets TANKED today it was UP .59%!
3. ALXA earnings reports is due out on 5/10/10 , AFTER the market close!
HOPEFULLY things turn out well......but who knows?
4. Some FDA Results are due out on 10/11/10!
5. As all Bio Pharmas it is HIGHLY SPECULATIVE but at $3.43 you can buy a few shares ......and I think over the long haul it will do well! It is definitely not like AAPL , where success is almost guaranteed!

Oh well a dose of levity before the serious business at hand. After a bruising 200 Point PLUS Dow drop yesterday ......EXTREME CAUTION IS ADVISED!.
Today's list will include 4 ETFS which actually short various markets .....play them long as any stock .......but be aware you are betting that the respective indices will go DOWN! I have included stops for those ETFs.

1. ALXA LONG There was some selling in aftermarkets so be careful.....but I feel this biopharma will slowly rise in the months ahead!
2. CAK LONG Energy company that seems to be breaking out!
3. KERX LONG BioPharma UP YESTERDAY an amazing 4.66% Yes it is overextended so be careful for a pullback!
4. SDS LONG Proshares ETF that Ultra Shorts S&P 500 . Use a Trailing Stop Loss of 5% or simply set stop 5% below your buy price!
5. SKF LONG Proshares ETF that Ultrashorts Financials . Use 7% Trailing Stop Loss , or simple stop 7% below your buy price!
6. SMN LONG Proshares ETF that UltraShorts Basic Materials . Use 10% TSL or simple 10% stop below your buy price!
7. TZA Direxion ETF that TRIPLE SHORTS the Daily Small Caps . Use 10% TSL or simple 10% stop below your buy price!

Definitely the leveraged ETFS are meant to make a quick profit and GET OUT! ALWAYS .....and I STRESS ALWAYS use a stop or trailing stop with these ETFs!

They also announced the purchase of remaining 40% stake in the company's Oyo oilfied in Nigeria. It produces 20,000 Barrells per day at a $40 cost per barrell! As Paul Harvey would say .....Here according to stock gumshoe , "Is The Rest Of The Story!"

It is really difficult to tell what KERX will do ....but if volume remains strong KERX should go back up to $6.50 PLUS!
