JMHO, but it has broken down through the 9 and the next stop might be the 20 at 14.08. There's no news, so I think it's the down market. I'm going to wait and test the waters again tomorrow.

I misspoke in above quote. BEC got into trouble by not following proper procedures with the FDA when they made changes in the lab tests for Triponin enzymes to detect heart damage. Now the test can only be run on certain machines that may not be used by mainstream hospital labs. This had been one of BEC's biggest moneymakers and will cost them hundreds of millions until things get straightened out. It has probably cost the CEO his job along with other corporate upheavals and miised earnings as well as lowered guidance.

Wow billy. I'm surprised that solid company would make a huge mistake like that. Sounds like the CEO should lose his job over it.

This is a useful lesson in risk management re. baby biotechs. I'm a bit of a gambler at heart, so I'm holding ALXA for now, not giving in to the temptation to buy more at this GA (god awful) price. They have been in constant discussion with the committee members at the FDA, so I'm hoping against hope that all the bugs have been worked out. CRY, all you shorts!

good for you! the BIOD decision is due about 10/30. I'll be out of the country then so can't participate. Their product looks great though.

Delcath popping about 10% on rumor of takeover by BMY. It's just a RUMOR but enough to see some big blocks trading. I might even get into the green yet!

(BTW, I've been waiting for the all the rumors of takeover of BMRN for the last 5 years to finally happen -- not yet anyway, but I'm still holding some.)

River I understand .......BioPharma stocks are tricky enough ......but "PUMPED" bio pharmas are gambling at best.
I am making about an 8% profit so far hopefully I can bail out with a profit! Supposedly the Post Ofiice and E-mailings have not gone out yet, so currently this is in the Pre Pump Phase! Let's see what happens!
