I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Register for free and you'll be able to post messages on this forum and also receive emails when $$$ MR. MARKET $$$ makes his own trades. ($$$MR. MARKET$$$ is a proprietary investor and does not provide individual financial advice. The stocks mentioned on this forum do not represent individual buy or sell recommendations and should not be viewed as such. Individual investors should consider speaking with a professional investment adviser before making any investment decisions.)

[QUOTE=billyjoe;115069]River, Thanks for the info. I'm glad you're Rocky Riverbabe, not Cuyahoga Riverbabe , otherwise I'd get "burned" by your investment ideas, Ha Ha !

Maybe a settlement between VRNG and GOOG today??? Press conference later this aft.? Stay tuned! I hope it's not. Too quick!
The comedians on the web:
Andy @A_F
breaking $VRNG to merge with Quinn Emanuel
“@KidDynamiteBlog: $VRNG hearing Vringo is gonna merge with McDonalds. synergies... (/sarcasm)”lol
Kid Dynamite @KidDynamiteBlog
$VRNG to merge with Squidoo??? (/sarcasm)
River, These price swings are getting me worried although nobody really knows what will happen. I've lowered my ave. price to 5.00 but would be tempted to sell off some if it spikes up again tomorrow. Good thing they found out ulcers are caused by bacteria otherwise I'd be forming one shortly.

I'm sorry billy. I thought by now you'd have nerves of steel too. (SA) "As we said yesterday, the action in Vringo, Inc. (VRNG) will be volatile moving forward and yesterday just highlighted that. After having a strong up day on Monday, shares traded lower by $0.98 (18.05%) to close at $4.45/share on volume of 36.1 million. If you are trying to trade this one you have to be able to sit around and watch it all day and buy on dips such as these to sell into strength on days like Monday. For our readers who are long-term investors that look for "special situations" to invest in, if you are buying here for those reasons please be prepared for a rollercoaster ride between your buy and sell points, with the ongoing litigation it will not be for the faint of heart."
River, The decision may be hours away. What should we settle on ? Hold out for a billion or take 500 mill. and be happy? If anything can possibly go wrong it probably will otherwise we'll be doing a cakewalk !

Billy, I was really hoping they would settle. Jury trials are always uncertain especially in complicated cases like this. I am following SteveKimLaw's Instablog at Seeking Alpha. He's going to provide daily reports by PDF files for $1.50 (each?) I wasn't able to download the first one yesterday. We'll see what happens today. Think settle, settle, settle!
According to SteveKimLaw Instablog reporting on VRINGO v. Google, things (testamonies) are going extremely well for VRNG. But, “it ain’t over ‘til it’s over.” Berra, Y. Trial will continue today and should last all week.
