    Re: VRNG:
Most of the twits on stock twits are bullish. That’s almost a bearish signal I would think. Considering all the bullish hype the market doesn’t seem to be recognizing the value.

However; At this price it’s like buying an option that doesn’t expire.

I started by saying, "It's a bet". Nothing more. Pure speculation. But I've read and compared Goog's Ad search system and filtering, with Lang's patented claims asserted by VRNG. VRNG has one heck of a case! The most Goog can do in defense is try to prove the patented claims are invalidated by prior art not fully considered by the USPTO when granting the patents. They have already requested a PTO "re-examination" which the PTO has agreed to. But, if a jury trial is won or a settlement reached, all that goes away. So far, VRNG's expert witnesses have explained hows and whys of the alleged infringement to the jury in such a clear way that even I can understand it. So Goog has to try to invalidate the patents. Patents invalid, ergo no infringement. It's gonna be a fist fight. If VRNG loses, the option expires close to worthless. We should know by the end of the week. (I have nerves of steel and never lose any sleep). (Also, I love writing to you so I can use proper English punctuation and not worry if the period goes inside the " " and the ( ) or not, depending on which country I'm in).

I hardly ever notice punctuation when I’m talking to a good-looking girl. Unless of course she is showing off the periods in her parenthesis. (.) (.)

River, I may be grasping at straws but VRNG is the only stock out of 43 that I'm tracking or own that is up today. That includes the dividend contest stocks.

Keep grasping, you're bringing us luck. Hope you're following all the latest articles. Seems like everybody is long VRNG. That scares me a little but not enough to bail (yet).

Hadn't heard of him, but Goog (using VRNG's stolen search filtering) found me this, as well as the VRNG post: http://finance.yahoo.com/mbview/thre...s=la%2Cd%2C145

YES! VRNG's expert was spectacular. Now comes the UGLY. GOOG will try to convince the jury that VRNG's patents are invalid. This is standard infringement defense. But look at how sneaky GOOG can be!

In our case, GOOG openly filed the re-exam request already. We need to be prepared to sell next week. This battle could go on for years. We only need a short-term gain.

Praise the Almighty and the power company! 20 min. after I got home, the power came back on. If it stays on, I'm back in business. Ski told me he's in a war zone at the Jersey Shore. Just saw some news footage on CNN. Awful, just awful.
