    Here a buck there buck

MESA ===== I guess you might say this is my tip for the week. One of the thing I like to watch is when the 10 EMA crosses the 20 MA. chart looks like they are coming off a double bottom, Indicators are all in an up turn ofter this selloff. I'm looking for a buck, buck and a half here. Might work, might not, I treat all my entries like a trip to the casino, came home broke more than twice. I guess you might say in it just for the fun cause I still have a day job that I like better. Marlin

P.S. B J, type more on your topic later.

          Heres the skinny

Billyjoe, I've have not been tring to avoid your ?????????????. So many & very little time. (BS) OK HERE WE GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!O wait mix one first.

When I started trading in 2002, I had a lot more time free time, to make a paper trail on my trades. At that point in time it was alot easier to buy & hold for a 100% winner. As time rolls on they ( 100% winners ) are not to be found in my ports. Has the market changed or has my outlooks, I feel its the markets. Doug in your top 100 do you find stocks doubling like they did in 2003.

I Have used stops in the past, but it's not a common pratice for I feel that my fees would eroad my profits since my entries are of a smaller amount. ( ave. entry $300.00)

As far as taking profits now days it happens when I close my pos.I have to stay in the lower priced stocks, since my entries are limited. Try to have around 10 open trades at a time and like retail the best next to energy. I've taken loses in the past to offset my winners for taxes but still holding some duds in hopes of a turn around.

Last mix is starting to take effect for I feel I'm starting to rammmmmble on so WE ( me & MY MUG ) shale close. Marlin

I use my Hartford Fund BOOK as a place to loc. alot of my picks, QPSA came from Micro Cap GEMS, Along with NGA (up $77.97-31.20%) close today.

                  Ksw

KSW ==== May be wrong but is this one of BIG Esss picks from the past.

6 Month trend line is stright across. 10 ema just kicked off a steady down trend. Just had a great day as far as price, Slow start but a kickass close. A day or so back reports released but they should not have caused this type of close. May be picking some of this up in the morn. Marlin

                        Qpsa

QPSA ==== At the present time the 10 day EMA has crossed the 20 day MA with a sharp up trend. Which points out to me that the intrest in this stock has turned positive, RSI 49.35, Vol. above ave., ( which is low ), Money Flow Index also supports an up trend.

Will place an order this Morning at the opening. Marlin

Just thought I would post here tonight and bring it back to life before it is to far back to find. Still not much free time around here and still mostly in cash.

MESA === Couldn't help myself on this one after reading the post about WIRE & GEHL last week. This would be as close as I could get as a match for the setup. In at $2.65 for a short ride. Marlin

                                Mea,
The only time I was ever in Nebraska was 30 years ago on our honeymoon. We were camping our way across country and on the way to Wyoming and Montana to Yellowstone. We were driving a International Harvester Scout and the gas tank was about 3/4 full when we got into Nebraska and we drove and drove without ever seeing another car or town for hours. The gas tank got down to empty, I usually don't let my cars get that low before filling them, and no sight of a gas station or civilization. No farm houses or anything that I could possibly stop at and get some gas. It was late October and it was very cold out. My wife, whose hysterical level is way way lower than mine, was starting to get very anxious because she begged me to stop and fill up before entering Nebraska and I didn't, was getting into one of those I told you so moods and I thought for sure we were going to run out of gas and be stranded in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night.
Finally we come to a railroad crossing which consisted of several grain elevators and the railroad tracks and thank God a 1 pump gas station that was open. It was about 8pm and the guy was just closing up for the day and we were able to fill up. I asked him if there were any signs of life out there and he told me about a mile up the road was a place called Jack' where the food was excellent and another mile past that was a Day's Inn. There were no other signs of life anywhere. It turns out that Jack's was a very large quonset hut type of building about 200 ft. long and at least 100 ft. wide. There were at least a couple of hundred cars and trucks parked outside and one sign that said Jack's. Nothing else. I thought the guy was pulling a joke on us and it was a church. We went inside and they had several rows of picnic tables laid end to end the entire length of the building and it was packed with people eating dinner served family style. Had to be several hundred people in the building.
I remember my wife had the Filet Mignon and I had the 20 oz. T-bone steak. You could cut the steaks with a butter knife. They were the most tender pieces of meat that I have ever eaten anywhere. My steak cost just under $10 and my wife's filet mignon, they brought out two of them out on one plate, was $8. There were at least 5 differnent vegetables served family style and you could help yourself and eat as much as you could hold down. No alcohol but you could bring your own which we didn't but the people around us were very congenial and offered us some beer which I was happy to take them up on. One of my most memorable meals. Fond memories of Nebraska but not much there then except farmland and bales of hay or straw piled up into hugh rectangles 40 to 50 ft. long and 20 ft. high. Has it changed much since then. Where are you located in the state?
