2024 PotY Contest Standings As of Market Close, May 17
I wouldn’t exactly call it a breakout week, but all three indices made new highs this week underscoring the strength of the market. As a result of the upward momentum we now have 10 picks in the green. Woohoo! Way to go, pickers. We did have a little shakeup at the top as Mr. Market’s CLRPF had another upward spurt and moved into 1st place with a whopping 62% gain! Long time leader Molly’s ARM clung to 2nd with a nice 55% gain of its own. Billy Joe’s MNKD climbed into 3rd as there continues to be some jostling going on for the third spot. Market still looks strong as buyers keep jumping in every time there’s a dip, although with a little less enthusiasm of late. I kind of get the feeling that buyers are looking for bargains but are having a hard time finding them with valuations so high. We have a big week coming with NVDA earnings just around the corner. Just gotta see what happens and go with the flow.
