    IB=Interactive Brokers.com??

    Checked them out... So there is a $10 commission min per month ($3 for me , I'm 23)...
    And then .01/share (up to 500 shares).

    That's it? Or are there other "fees"

    Thanks! If this is good I will be going with IB!

    • I like IB and the platform is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. It sure is different from scottrade. I screwed up a few weeks ago and meant to take a stock long and mistakenly shorted it. That was a quick 10% lesson…lolo.. If you pop in and out of stocks I’d recommend IB.

        It seems that BOOM hit the 38.2% fib today as well...

        Hey I read that Fibs should be used with reversal bars (ie taking position on the next day if the high is taken out.

        Check it out here..

            and EOC is not stopping!! Spike, can you count the waves on this one? I want to get a short entry on this one!

            dmk...IMO that is not a true Cup w/ Handle. There are varying descriptions of Cw/H's, but in a "Classic" pattern, there should be a prior uptrend(and IMO ANTP's was too short...almost a blip) up to the left side high. If it continues up to about 50 now and then forms a handle, then it could be a classic.

            Here is one that better fits the description...at least the way I see it:

                Bummer, looks like I don't qualify for IB, maybe b/c I'm still a student and don't have a FT job. That stinks!

                  Heck...I post some every weekend. However, I will admit that some are a bit of a stretch and many don't meet the other preferred parameters of most people. I've looked at jillions of IBD examples over the past 25 years and some of their's...I can't even see when I squint.

                  I don't think you were around when I first mentioned this...WON did not discover the CwH...He just changed the name circa 1966 and popularized the pattern. The earliest recollection I can find about the pattern is in William L. Jiler's "How Charts Can Help You In The Stock Market" 1961...He calls it a Saucer with Platform...But it is the same pattern. I highly recommend the book as a primer. It is very easy to follow and revised editions are available all over the Net. I got the original edition from my Dad...Best, Doug(IIC)

                      Ya know...last year I sorta ran a campaign around the net to change the name back to "Saucer w/ Platform"...But the interest was minimal. I also ran a poll to change the name of Pivot Point to something else on 2 other forums...I forget what name won...But I think it was Strike Point. Personally, I voted for Flash Point...IIC
