Greetings and a "Holla" Spike,
If you can peek at SNAK when you get a chance, its really been acting strong.
Ive heard you say smart people sell at resistance and buy support. It keeps breaking new highs,I want to let this one run if it has the legs.
Im thinking alot of folks are looking at doubling up in a few months and cashing out,yet the volume seems to be increasing with price, which suggests to me that demand still outweighs supply.BTW this is a small float stock.
Any thoughts?
cordially Tom

Apologies for ignoring the thread. Just needed a break again.
Iggy: for VPHM, I'd be targeting the upper channel at 19.00 and rising, and patiently wait for the chart to whisper an exit should price not make it up there. That gap is a runaway I think. Money flow outstanding. Vol by price consistant and solid. Just patiently hold it and trail a respectable stop so you don't lose more than half your profit perhaps. It all depends how much you've got already, and how much risk you want to allocate it. Remember, profits made is not house money but rather your own!B.J. is no doubt regretting his decision to exit, but hey, that's just emotion
He had rules and did well. Just make sure you follow yours too
RL; here are some thoughts for LSI.
Thomrich; greetings friend!
OK, SNAK: Looks great doesn't it! Shame it didn't provide me the right pullback. But it's one to follow for a while now.
Consider the recent action as very bullish, and the pullback a healthy one. It's actually a good discount today, so S2 entry at 6.09 is a good one.
Here's the chart.

Chart thoughts:
If one is using the hourly psar/mf chart, it's currently bearish and mf floating around 50. Wait for bullish psar and mf of 70.

It's already been #2 on IBD list and it will not go to #1 anytime soon.
Where to you see the channel long turning short?
Again, many thanks!

Setting trailing stop on IB
Spike/NB,
I have a question about setting trailing stop on IB. I bought DXPE several days ago at 14.50. When it hit 15.50, I believe it will go up again. I want to set a trailing stop to trail the price by 1.50. But when I tried to do it via TWS, it didn't give me trail option directly, instead, I only could attach a trailing stop on a primary sell order. So my primary sell order is sell limit at 15.50. I thought with trailing stop order attached to it, it would work differently. Today, I was so glad that DXPE jumped over 7%, but then found out that I dont own that stock anymore. It might be sold a couple of days ago at 15.50. I could only access webtrader at work. It doesn't have transcation history, I dont even know when they were sold. It seems that I couldn't set trailing stop on webtrader either.
Could you tell me how to correctly set a trailing order?
Thanks
Yaoyao

yaoyao,
After placing the original buy order, I place a stop-loss sell order in your case at 1.50 less than purchase price. I put it at "good till cancelled". As the price rises I continually am cancelling the stop loss and raising it. No charge until it actually is triggered. I can't do it any other way without paying more than once.

p.s. I don't have ib or webtrader so this probably won't help
