IS PSAR on Quotetracker? IB doesn't offer it. I've got to get that system set up for my trades.
Thanks for the info. I will be away from the computer during the day tomorrow, so I can't do anything. But earlier this week I have been daytrading KHB, trying to get my money back .20 cents at a time. Any stock would do, but I have a feel for how this thing is working, so I have been trading it. (How does it feel? Lower, of course).

Yes, it is on QT. The chart above is one of the 'historical' charts. Right click a ticker symbol or intraday chart and one of the many options you see is historical charts. The intraday charts have psar too.
Good luck with the scalping. I take it you've had a long bias while doing it. If not an you've been shorting, then I think that's the angle to approach it from. Good luck! And remember, stocks don't have memories! Only we do. But whatever is workin' bro, whatever is workin'!

I've made about ten trades, all long except one short. I look at the intraday chart, pick out descending triangles, or s~h~s, look for support lines, and act accordingly. The best thing is something I've learned from you: "believe the chart", and "it is what it is until it isn't." I like scalping--aside from the time it takes--but it has worked for me. But buying and holding--I've been the one scalped here lately!

Here is another "simple" way of looking at KBH. On Aug 4 it broke thru 78 from above signalling a Point and Figure double bottom breakdown ( I hope this link works) :

                CPTV opinion requested...

                Hi Spike,

That 10-day moving avg is about to overtake CPTV soon.

Thinking of taking some short positions around 20.50 - 21.50 for a cover around 19 or even 18.40's

                Opinions?

                  NUS on Quotetracker

                  Hello Spike,

NUS is in an interesting position. Can you plunk your magic twanger on Quotetracker and see what develops? There is not much volume below 21.20. Thanks for all of your contributions to the board.

                  • Greetings Spike,

I had to pick up my daughter this morning ,and missed the short on CTTY,looks like the 17.70 range after the spike up was a decent signal. So far its holding 15.30 as I type,if it breaks 14 wouldthat be another short signal?

                    cordially Tom

This is how I look at it (a basic count could have it in a 3 of a bigger 3 of 5.
                      Good luck with it though.

For some reason my intraday charts are messed up with it and clearing and backfilling doesn't help. This is happening a lot to me lately, since I updated QT, so it's likely a software issue. I'd be more comfortable shorting strength, but if a good pattern shows itself you could try it. r/r always tougher during a chase

Where did you find short shares for CTTY?

I am wondering, because CTTY is on the "Regulation SHO" list, plus the float must be like 600K, out of which 300K are shorted.

Would love to know your broker!

You title assumes he has shorted it, but he said he missed the short, which I perceive to mean he wasn't at his computer to attempt to see if were available and actually short it.

And I understand that Reg-SHO stocks CAN be shorted when inventory conditions permit, your broker just has to make an effort to go find the shares for you. Brokers will do this; not all, but the great service brokers will. IB isn't one of 'em Great platform; relatively poor service. That's whey they be so cheap!

Wow. Point and Figure agrees with Dow Theory that $60 ($59.60) is the bottom.
