And I understand that Reg-SHO stocks CAN be shorted when inventory conditions permit, your broker just has to make an effort to go find the shares for you. Brokers will do this; not all, but the great service brokers will. IB isn't one of 'em Great platform; relatively poor service. That's whey they be so cheap!
    Greetings,

Ye thats true,I never did short it or attempt to,I did think it was a good formation, for a drop.I use scottrade ,and they would likely not find shares for me.

It looks untradeble now,not sure which way it will break.

On another note,Spike,do chart patterns apply to CEF's.I am in JQC which pays an 8% div. but price is slowly eroding. The NAV for this fund is in the 14s,so Im fairly sure its trading at a discount for a reason.Approx.11% discount.

Whats your opinion,do charts work for investments like these? If it was a stock Id sell now looking at the chart.'

LOL .... Horny? to a degree .... Problem is, as a steer (castrated bull) that's about the only "horny" that'll do HIM any good! .... So it goes with the market .... Looks can be deceiving, sometimes you gotta reach down there and risk getting kicked, and see if that "bull" is for real or not.lol

Hey Jiesen, maybe we should create a new term .... "Steer Market", looks kinda like a bull, but has no balls!

                  Not yet.

And there is a thread on VPHM. You should post there with any questions on that stock. Everyone will see it there.

                  • Where?

Which thread? I know I originally saw VPHM somewhere on this board, but I searched and didn't see anything obviously titled.

Hey, I am so sorry. Here's the link:

There is no thread; it is B.J.'s Swing Trading Thread that has it. I was wrong. Sorry.

Spike's the expert; but here's my take just to compare answers.
I think the volume is too low right now. I'd look for the $9.50 entry if I just had to have this one.

Hey NBB, If you answered this question before please forgive me for asking again, as I didn't see your response. But, how can I view your TA from Imageshack in a larger format? It comes through about 1 inch square. Spikes charts are big when I download them. Thanks in advance for the instruction.

Yeah, it is some setting. Like the one that costs $20 per month to make them bigger! Remember, Spike makes more from his trading than I do! Should be remedied soon . . . the charts, not likely the trading.
