I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. HTE ex date selloff in progress, down from high of 33.69 to 31.25.Not sure about the bottom since chart is so young.Im willing to buy below 31,would think this weekend could be big for oil as Rita hits.
cordially Tom
OK, you've got a minor channel long on the daily and the intraday pattern to go with it. The play would be either long at current prices of 31.51 with stop under lod. Or you could wait for the blue c short failure and take it long at 31.70, or bid for a pullback once it trades there.
Out of TMY for $1 profit. Paid for SOSA's loss. SOSA nailed today, down to $11.65, or -.31
I'm long TMY from 3.10. What changed your mind about it? Very nice daily count and weekly chart. It's one of the 'good guys' haha.
Well done on SOSA dude. That was excellent discipline. Channel shorts after a double top is really an excellent short setup, and that's exactly what you were facing. Kudos for ACTING to protect.
HTE: There is also a 'tweezer' on the hourly at the double bottom of 31.25. That is a solid reason to believe the count I've done is correct. If that breaks, next stop will be 30.70 major channel in short order, which really will be attractive discount on that daily.
Tweezers: are candlestick formations. Two consecutive candles with the same high or low, and ideally both also “spike” candles, such as HTE was today. A tweezer bottom can be a strong indication of a trend reversal.
Spike do you think SNAK might retest the bottom of the wedge before it blasts off? I was thinking that might be the completion of the wiggle wave down. Looks as if the upper wedge line you drew is acting as temp resistance? I will agree this stock does look ripe. I’m just not sure it will blast off yet, but who knows..
spike, I am seeing a lot of thirsty people here with alot of bottled water, majority majority produced by nestle, what is your opinion on the chart- thanks -
Spike do you think SNAK might retest the bottom of the wedge before it blasts off?
Perhaps. I'll just follow my discipline and patiently hold the entry until the chart tells me to get out or I'm stopped out and proven wrong. I think when this moves it will be quick and I don't want to mess around trying to get cute with it.
Spike just put a dart Into KFX think I'll buy Mon morning what do you think of that? If you have time to take a look.
Hey RL. It spiked up today to a channel short and there is a double top intraday now to confirm that short setup. Bearish on it until today's high is taken out convincingly.
