I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Spike! you beat me to it! I was just going to post that!!! ahahha
Can you say....rally?
lol yep, rally time please I suspect I'll have reason to get out of bed as a bull after tomorrow. I'm expecting a trend day up tomorrow, instead of gap n crap. That's my crystal ball prediction anyway I think I'm gonna have to change my portfolio pick this week too....perhaps a cheapy that's primed to take off........
. . . . Oil stocks got pummelled on Friday. If (crude) falls to $50, you are going to see the US dollar strengthen dramatically against the Canadian dollar. Time to bring the $$ across the border before the exchange rate falls.
I agree NB. You've got weekly double top on $CDW, so it's good resistance to make the move. And the USD weekly has the channel long in early Sept, that has been bought very nicely, and it looks like a daily bullish channel bust on the daily on Friday after a minor channel long on the daily the day before. I think your read is spot on, and USD rallies. $XAU at triple top resistance, $GOLD a pretty bearish weekly candle there. Gonna be an interesting couple weeks.
I received a long signal on USD on 9/12/05 off the bottom on what I think is a “c” confirmation did not happen until 5 days latter, but it is holding..
Hi Spike,
Please look at the 1 yr weekly for this gold marker. Is that an inverse H&S? Right shoulder not lower and is thinner than left so I'm not sure.
Thanks.

It's just plain nuts I tell ya! lol
The pink and red aren't classic shapes, but hey, I think they sneak in.
Wheres the support for Snak?? If they dont hold here is it back down to 5?
SNAK; what a disappointment. I bit the bullet today and took a 5% hit. The channel long failed, and daily produced a fresh expanding channel long. There is a nice intraday double bottom down at 5.35 to confirm it. I'm back to stalking the silly thing having missed the double bottom entry. 5.35 long was genius today, and absolutely a valid place to take it long with tiny risk. Just wasn't there to do it. Anyone holding long, stops under today's low I suggest. The expanding channel is a clear warning.
Well today really was a good buy today..........at the double bottom entry. That was the place to take it. Expanding long after a plunge, double bottom entry. Simple stuff. Got bought in the afternoon, so it's worth holding if you had taken it, so it's a valid hold to target short because of the expansion. Now, should today's low fail, then I'm bearish on it.
Just opened a swing long Dow futes at 10522. 30 point stop.
Stopped out of this one obviously. Vector turned bullish today, although price action doesn't call for it; go figure.......
Not really liking the candles on INDU and SPX either.
Tomorrow's another day; or today is! What am I doing awake at this hour!? Too much caffeine.
Good luck all.
