Ok, I'm looking at the chart.

Ouch...that was a pretty heavy sell off! We definitely got the 11.59 - 11.86 gap filled.
But wait...there is still a gap from June 9th that has not been filled. This one gapped from 9.30 - 11.50. Could it be possible that we may get this gap filled also? Considering the good fundamentals, I would consider that the extreme worst case scenario, but it could still happen. It's incredible how DHB has been beat down.
I will play the cautious side and will dump at my 5% loss point. If it drops below $12 again I think it's headed for $9.30. I can always re-enter at that point.
So, I have my plan. If this one doesn't work out, it will be my 3rd losing trade in a row. The good part is that my losses will be minimal and I will have plenty of money to buy the next winner with!

Any thoughts Spike? Negative vibes are welcome.

By the looks of it AH it traded up to 13.20. Don't know if they're late prints or what, but it would have been nice to take that and hop off. Now I see AH it's back to 12.29.

My thoughts: I didn't like it before today's plunge, as per the chart. After the plunge I hate it even more on the long side. It's weak, it's dangerous, and it's got gaps! Today's low MUST hold in my humble stubborn opinion. If it doesn't it is in deep doo doo. You have a larger two-headed SHS (otherwise known as a two-headed monster) staring at you, with a clear neckline break today. That targets 8.00ish on a log chart. If it were me, I'd not be holding this long. May the grace of God give you a chance to escape this one

Yup...I'm going to do my best to get out without getting hurt too bad. I'll set my stop tight and if I'm lucky enough to get a profit tomorrow, I'll dump it fast.

I was looking at my profile and notice that I have 5 referrals. That's more than everyone else. Is that good? Does this mean that I get credit for bringing 5 people to this site? Do I get a prize for this?

I'm still holding DHB. It's looking a little better today. I may not get out with a profit, but at least I'm not going to get slaughtered.

I'm going to call a spade a spade and jump in front of you on this one Webs. You seem to be displaying that much-unwanted emotion and associated indecision. I'm reminding you that not 24 hours ago you were clear about your plan http://www.mrmarketishuge.com/forum/...&postcount=319

I think perhaps you're making a technical error, in that you have chosen to hold at the wrong time. Had your entry been proven as well-timed, say at the gap fill, I'd be your biggest supporter to hold, but it wasn't. I praised you for a great technical intraday entry, and it was on an intraday basis, just not a daily basis, but in any case, despite my daily view of the stock, intraday price action proved your trade wrong, invalid and undesirable. The setup failed, and you held through a big downdraft (in itself another technical error, but that is your own r/r business and not mine). It's given you a chance to extricate yourself at break even, and yet you freshly decide today that it looks better and you're holding - depite the fact that it's at intraday pivot resistance, potentially setting up a intraday SHS, and in my humble opinion, at risk of falling to S2 at 9.70. Yes, S2 is that low today.

So with all due respect my vacillating vulcan friend, if you like DHB so much, you can attempt another smart well-timed entry when the moment presents itself. Holding right now you are exposing yourself to unnecessary risk, and you're on the wrong side of the trade.

No offence intended, and none will be taken by your reply

Ahhh, but Spike, you misunderstood me. Here is what I said -

"I'm still holding DHB. It's looking a little better today. I may not get out with a profit, but at least I'm not going to get slaughtered."

I meant that I was presently holding DHB and, yes, it was looking better, at the time. I also admitted that I would probably get out without a profit, but was glad that I wasn't going to get slaughtered.

After spending half a day on the firing range, blasting away at paper targets with a state issued firearm, I was fortunate enough to come home and catch a bounce up on DHB. I sold out at $12.70. That's only a .09 per share loss which is minimal. I will now watch to see if DHB makes a major gap fill. If not, I'll be looking for other longs.

Thanks for your great advice my knowledgeable friend! Feel free to preach the truth anytime. You can never offend me by trying to help a Vulcan in need.

Ah! Forgive me then! Great exit there. No shame in that at all. May you be proven right, and may your next entry be the perfect one!

So much for DHB. It's time to look for other longs....or shorts. I should be able to short soon, after I get my other account open, which will be right around the corner....as soon as I get a few more $$$ saved. Have I ever mentioned that I accept donations to my Paypal account? I should have been born wealthy. Instead, I had to be born a military brat. There's no money in that. I did get to see the world while I was growing up though. Yup, I'm well traveled, but poor.
That's why I'm here. I'm working on the problem of being poor. The market is a great tool to help the less fortunate achieve wealth. As I've stated before, I did increase my wealth last year through the market, and actually outperformed the prior years that I was invested in mutual funds. Every year I am making progress. I am no longer the pennyless young lad that I used to be. I now have at least four or five pennies. Tomorrow, I wll have six or seven pennies and my wealth will continue to build. One step at a time. That's how fortunes are made!
I see that PLUM had a good drop before it rebounded today. I'll be watching to see what happens tomorrow on this one. If Skiracer likes it, I'm willing to consider it. I have quite a few others that I watching, but my list is getting stale, so it's time to search for some new canidates.

A penny for your thoughts. EIGHT!

True, though. One winner at a time.

                            Webs,
I'm a Navy brat myself. My dad flew blimps for 21 years and we moved around the country every two years from sea duty to shore duty. It was neat and he would take me with him on the blimps everywhere. Sometimes I would be the one flying the blimp at 11 or 12 years old. So glad to see you escaped unscathed from DHB. Hope you're counting your blessings on that one. Even Vulcans show emotion at times.
