    Webs,
It seems that if DHB didn't have great earnings now with the war and terrorism when would they. On the other hand ,why would the insiders sell if things were going so well? Maybe they figured they could cash in , take the heat for a couple months , then be vindicated when a great earnings report caused the stock to rocket again. Has there been any reports of them quietly buying back in the last couple weeks? It's a hard one to figure.

I haven't seen the insiders buying back any shares.

No buys yet this week. Maybe we should all buy unleaded gas futures. I think gas will get close to $3 per gallon this year. I paid about $4 for Diesel while I was in France, so I guess $3 is not really that bad compared to what the Europeans are paying. Their gas is close to $6! Lesson for the day...Pay extra for the deisel option if you rent a car in Fance.
I have a cold and feel like.... uh, I mean I don't feel good. I may take advantage of the situation and stay home tomorrow. If I do, chances are that I will try a trade or two.
DHB fell back again as well as SIRI.

Here's what I'm watching, with a few additions...
PLUM, TASR, JUPM, CBK, NINE, MSO, XXIA, MFLX, PGI, APCS, XXIA, DAVE, SIM, BTFG, LOJN, SIM

A few might make good shorts...

            here's your short

            Webs,

If you're looking for a short for Wed, March 9,2005, may I suggest that you short GM after the opening spike upwards. She's quite sick, you know, and has been dropping daily on above average volume. No divy to worry about until May 9. Looks weaker than SIRI. She's dropping about .40 per day. That's $400 per thousand, Webs. Might even pay to stay home from work tomorrow.

            • SIM broke under the lower triangle edge today. Looks like a bad trade right now.

I had bought at the 50 DMA yesterday. Not down much, but wish I'd waited.

I'm home sick sick today but I'm still well enough to watch the market. I'm not sure if I'll make any trades. Time will tell.

                  sell GM short

                  Webs,

While you are watching the market sell 1000 GM short and pay yourself for the day off. $30 is where its headed, or lower.

Thanks for the tip Newborn! I'm just about ready to get my next trading account open so I can short stocks. Right now, I'm stuck with a tax free Sharebuilder account which does not offer shorting as an option.

Today doesn't look like it's going to be a good day for the Bulls...

                      Bummer.

Relooking at it, yes, that's clearly a triangle break. I still don't think it qualifies as a descending triangle though, just a regular triangle. I'd describe the whole daily pattern more as a double top leading to failure at price support, bearish triangle break, searching for lower channel at 5.00ish.

A good example of why one should be cautious around anything that has the potential of being a double top, and if you were looking for the bigger ascending triangle I speculatively drew, the logical stop is the break of the rising edge.

Add this one to the list of failed good patterns. A good pattern is a good pattern until it isn't I suppose. Same old same old isn't it?!

Spike, that is a very logical statement

Speaking of logical, Webs, where can I sign up for Vulcan lessons? I need some Vulcan lessons after this week thus far.

Nobody makes $$ every single week, so I just used the basketball court to vent this frustrating week. Grabbed every rebound in sight. Having fun outside investing (and during when applicable) is what it's all about.

Ask yourself this..if gasoline were $10/gallon, would you stop driving? My guess is that you would not. What this tells you is that the demand for gasoline will not ebb with higher prices and, as a result, the trend will be higher, in the long run.

It's one of the most important basic necessities. They have us all by the you know what's. I for one will pay whatever it is and pass through the price to my customers, but one day it will peak and everything will either stop or slow way down. How far away is that day is the question.

Another lousy markey day, but I didn't lose a dime. It's amazing...I have all this cash sitting around and nothing looks good to me.
I am considering taking a postion in SIRI if it drops back a little more. I don't think you can lose on SIRI if you're patient.
