I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Peanuts, I believe this article has something to do with todays action and pullback.

Thanks, Ski.
I would not want to be invested in MED with this current news. What do you think?

I was doing some research and came across this stock. For some reason, the set-up reminded me of some of the stocks which I've seen you highlight and make trades. The volume has really been picking up lately, which seems to be in anticipation of the earnings release on Thursday. It is also approaching critical resistance at $5.95. What do you think? short it or go long? ...or wait?

I'm not sure what is going on within the company but it looks like something is taking place with some of their product line. I exited my latest position in the 12.90 range a few days ago. I still like the company but it seems that everytime it begins to strengthen on sales and earnings something comes up to pull the rug out from under it. I'm still keeping it on my watchlist and still feel that it is a good company. Actually last year it was my biggest losing position as I was holding a few thousand shares from around 12/13 levels and violated my exit rule of 7% and ended up losing about 8000 on the position before I exited the trade. This year I made up for it with several trades. I would be patient and keep and eye on it.
I'm sorry Ski, but we didn't officially invade cambodia until 1970...I just found it "curious" that you would claim to have been under fire in cambodia 4 years before we officially invaded it (that was the beginning of the end of nixon if you'll recall, for escalating the war into cambodia). May I ask what unit you served with and where you were stationed? Thanks in advance.

Sorry that I answered you in the fashion that I did Tatnic but actually you can't ask me that. In those days they called it "Black Ops" and don't believe everything that you read in the newspapers. The North VietNamese were using Laos and Cambodia as their supply routes down the Mekong River into south VietNam since the early 1960's. There were a number of Special Operations units doing surveillance and recon into Cambodia and Laos tracking the Viet Cong and their movements into the south from Cambodia. The MO was to recon and not encounter unless the mission called for it. On occassion we happened upon them or visa versa unintentionally and a firefight would ensue. We did our utmost to stay out of their way and they did the same. I was with a unit of Army Rangers. I'm sorry that what I stated was taken as full combat units or operations into Cambodia because it was nothing of the sort. But in the two tours I spent there I did see alot of fighting in Cambodia and into parts of the Central highlands. Since we were Special Ops they moved us around alot and most of the time we were in the field and deep jungle for weeks at a time. Believe me I always knew where I was at. I was also out of country by the end of 1967 and spent the next 11 months in the hospital.
Thanks for the confirmation Runner. Those Marines were some of the bravest men I've met and so many of them gave their lives getting other guys up and out. I don't know why I even mention it at times as I've spent a lifetime trying to forget about it. But still there were some pretty good times in all of it.
