I'm no hero guys. Just tried to do my job the best I could and was one of the lucky ones to get through it all alive and well at the end. The real heros and the ones who deserve all the credit are the ones that didn't make it back to talk about it. But you're right about anyone who puts that uniform on and serves whether they got drafted or joined of their own free will. They deserve the credit.THE SKIRACER'S EDGE: MAKE THE EDGE IN YOUR FAVOR

Guys, I'm really sorry that I brought the subject up. Sometimes when I hear other people talking about war and killing and the such I forget about the intensity of the entire situation and try to draw some similarity between my experiences and how much of a distaste I have for killing and war in general. I don't want to dis anyone by not responding to your posts about Viet Nam or Iraq or anything regarding all of this but I just can't do it. After looking at the site that Runner posted on last night I couldn't sleep all night for a number of reasons. Believe me when I tell you that there is nothing wrong with me and I'm not suffering from any type of recurring flashbacks but sometimes even after all these years and I haven't thought about certain events the memories that come back are just to vivid and I don't want to even think of them anymore. I'm sorry but I just cannot talk about it or pass on any of the experiences. In my opinion everyone one of those guys that gave their lives or got shot up and came back less than they went over as anywhere for this country deserve something more than whatever it is that we can give them now. It's the primary reason why we and every country everywhere should seriously consider our actions but that will never be a reality.
DMK,
I'm sure your friend, and I think you have mentioned him to me before, is highly trained in all aspects of killing but I would venture to say that his taste for it lies in the same vein as mine. It's way in the past.THE SKIRACER'S EDGE: MAKE THE EDGE IN YOUR FAVOR

No problem on my part at all. I actually like the link and thought it was very informative and interesting. It certainly confirmed what I was talking about. I'm sure that I will go back to it on numerous occcassions now that I know about it for a number of reasons. It was all part of my life and I can't change that. I'm sure you understand that some of it brings back memories that are hard to go back to even after this length of time. You always post the best links to sites and this was certainly another great one. Don't feel guitly or bad on my part at all. I really appreciated the source. Besides it is a great site for spreading info on what was actually going on in Viet Nam, Laos, and Cambodia during those years. Everybody that participated in any of that deserves the recognition and for everyone to know. Thanks again.THE SKIRACER'S EDGE: MAKE THE EDGE IN YOUR FAVOR

Iig
I promised that I'd notify anyone who was interested when to short this pig. Now looks like a good time. I bot puts right before yesterday's close (mainly because I got back to late to try and short this and not even sure there are shares available anymore). If you can get shares to short do so, if not then puts are available but expensive (buy in the money). This looks like a broken chart now, but it has been killing the shorts since it broke out at $15 a few months ago.

Spike and Whiz,
I'll have to get back to you later today. Can't post any charts right now and have some pressing paper work to get to before the end of the day. Spike I have been watching MAMA and I think I favor the 5 up and a long play from here but I would watch it to see what's going on because it just might test the c.THE SKIRACER'S EDGE: MAKE THE EDGE IN YOUR FAVOR

Great Skiing
Just got back from previously mentioned ski trip. 3 days at Kicking Horse and 3 days ( 2 days cat skiing and 1 day Heli skiing) at Chatter Creek . Both are about 3 1/2 hrs. north of Calgary Canada. Both are fantastic places to ski and I would highly recommend both to any advanced skiiers. Now gotta get back to making $$$$$ to pay for next trip..( FRPT is gonna do it. )

Just out of curousity, what does a trip like that cost to fly in, accomadations, and lift tickets. Is the heli skiing expensive or is there a group rate? Glad you had a great trip and are back safely.Hide not your talents.
