DYN looks like it might be stalling out. I set a stop at 9.36 which was my entry price. I think it might have come to the end of that 5th wave. If true it will be interesting to follow it thru the a, b, and c waves and perhaps catch the next move up.THE SKIRACER'S EDGE: MAKE THE EDGE IN YOUR FAVOR

I'm not going to take a loss on this play from this point. So I would sell at my entry.Buy Low

I'm out of Dyn at 9.58. I think the 5th wave has exhausted itself and we will now see the a,b,c correction before the next move up. I would like to catch this on any spike up after the c move down.THE SKIRACER'S EDGE: MAKE THE EDGE IN YOUR FAVOR

I had posted on Riverbabe's thread yesterday that I thought BW was strong and could be setting up for a breakout soon and maybe today was the day. The May 50 call was 2.60 and with 49 days left until expiration there was plenty of upside. I thought and still do that BW would go to over 53 or more based on it's fundamentals and the cycle of it's daily chart with the cup and handle formation. At 49.24 it wasn't that far out of the money on the call and although the implied volitaility had dropped some over the last week or two I still liked the prospects of the stock to go up and drive the call with it. I woke up this morning with the plan in my head to buy the calls at the open or first opportunity as close to 2.60 as I could. I bought what I wanted at 2.75 range because it started to bid and ask higher right off the bat as the stock opened and started to go right up. I think that other guys must have seen the same chart pattern and deal with the options because they went off pretty quickly to 2.90 to 3 range. I got out in the 3.25 to 3.20 range right after it started to stall. I don't know what hit the stock but it stopped and turned down and the call went with it.
I haven't seen anything on the newswires about the stock. No news events today at all. The stock is really well positioned for the next qtr. or two and it really looks like it is still ready to pop. I think that the false breakout was just that, a blip, and that this continuation down from here is a part of that handle forming a gentle slope downward shaking out those that are looking to get out in the process.
I think this is a great opportunity to do the same thing over again from what looks to be a cheaper entry on the same call option, May 07 50 call, BWEJ, which last trade was 2.50 and the bid was 2.30 and ask 2.50 which is cheaper than what it opened at this morning as it is now -.10 for the day.
I wouldn't be buying it right here but Monday I would look for an entry on a few contracts at 2.50 / 2.60 levels if the stock is moving up. I still feel the stock is easily a 53/55 from here over the next month if the market doesn't that a slide which I don't think it will. This looks to be a gift with both the stock and the option. I like the option better here especially with the 48 days left to expiration.THE SKIRACER'S EDGE: MAKE THE EDGE IN YOUR FAVOR

I haven't checked but I'm guessing if you pulled up papers from 2 years ago, you'd see a mirror image of the weather patterns we're seeing now. I'm guessing we get a corker of a hurricane season and more record droughts and heat this summer. Land drillers should do very well. Anyone see any betting sites on when N.O. folds up the tents and sinks into the muck? I'm guessing by 2010 the population will be half of what it is now (and this after its about half of what it is 2 years ago)....a dying city, sinking out of sight.

He says "me and my old school pals had some might high times down here
And what happened to you poor black folks, well it just ain't fair"
He took a look around gave a little pep talk, said "I'm with you" then he took a little walk
Tell me, how can a poor man stand such times and live?
There's bodies floatin' on Canal and the levees gone to Hell
Martha, get me my sixteen gauge and some dry shells
Them who's got got out of town
And them who ain't got left to drown
Tell me, how can a poor man stand such times and live?
I got family scattered from Texas all the way to Baltimore
And I ain't got no home in this world no more
Gonna be a judgment that's a fact, a righteous train rollin' down this track
Tell me, how can a poor man stand such times and live?=============================
I am HUGE! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses.

It is fundamentally sound and is basically set with sales and earnings for the next couple of qtrs. The May 50 call will probably open at around 2.50 tomorrow morning which is lower than what I bought it for on Friday. I'm looking for the stock to go back to recent highs and above.
DYN is also coming out of that down wave into a nice spike up. I bought that this morning at 9.36 exactly where I bought it the other day. I think it goes over 10.50 to 11 range if it clears 9.75/9/80 levels.Last edited by skiracer; 04-02-2007, 11:19 AM.THE SKIRACER'S EDGE: MAKE THE EDGE IN YOUR FAVOR

The stock is over 50 right now. I had a feeling that false breakout on Friday was going to release some bigtime buying very soon. A classic breakout. I hope it holds. I think I am going to watch it real closely and take the profits by end of day. Although I do like the stock to go to 53 to 55 range. That would make the call go through the roof it it does.
