OK, when we start to see averages, we know we have really started. Good job, Lye!

Now here is a prediction: we will see the top averages coming down (and the bottom averages coming up). It will be interesting to see where we get over time. In the plus, no doubt, but how much?

Points Standings for the POTW.... 12/02/05

      Here's the points race guys!!!!

The players with (*) by their % average are ones who have missed the contest one or more times. Their score should be much better than it is.... And if they play every week.... It will improve.... Won't it Ray Long!

      Here it is Fellas....

No problem Jiesen.... But please post it on the POTW thread so I won't miss it Monday when I set up the weeks scorecard...Thanks

BTW.... I have thought it over and I'm posting the top 10 players picks in my portfolio this week. My goal is to invest $100k in these picks and 5 picks just ain't enough. So Jiesen that means AMLN will be in the portfolio because you are the #10 player dude.

You're doing great. Concentrate on staying in the green every week. The rest will work itself out. I don't see anyone maintaining an average above 3/4 % on a continuing basis much less above 5 %.

I'm in solid and holding. Looking for a decent week this coming week. Interesting though that you're considering getting out of the position. What would your reasoning be to support that decision. What was your entry point.

It's just not acting good after that gap down. We are right at support so we may be OK, but if it breaks I'm out and It will most likely head to 5 or upper 4's. I think there are just many other stocks that look better out there, but we'll see. I 1st got in @ 5.10 off the 50 dma in early Nov. sold some along the way and bough back some shares @ 5.80 so my average cost is something like 5.60.

Where do you have your stop loss? I'm out if it breaks the 50 dma. What about you?

I'm in at $5.84. I'll be watching the screen all day tomorrow so I won't be setting a physical stop but my normal stop is 7% which in this case would be $5.43. I probably would give it to $5.40. I watched it all last week and it never broke below $5.48 an every day last week by the close it climbed back up to the $5.75 range. I watch the raw data on the trades as they take place and it was getting bought up at the asked prices pretty regularly. I do think that the market maker was looking to shake out some anxious owners though because everytime it started to take off it would get pushed back down. But someone was buying whatever they could get it at all week without driving the price back up. Look at the 15 min. chart and you'll see what I'm talking about. Also on the daily there are two gaps to fill which could easily send it back above the $6.50 range. It seemed to me to be exhibiting strength in the face of that private placement which I didn't think was that cheap for whoever was buying it at the $5.50 price. Institutional ownership it way up. If the markets are strong this week I think we'll be alright. Only time will tell. You've got room to let it breathe at $5.60 but your in the green and should protect those gains while I'm still below my entry price.

I love it and highly recommend it.... I've had it since the old 5.0 version days. 6.0 is awesome especially unisearch.... Put this software in someones hands like Skiracer or Spike and I love to see what they'd do with it.

                                Lye,
I took the free 5 week trial week before last and am in process of learning to use the program now. Interesting stuff and some nice charting tools. A whole lot of indicators an other tools in there. Saw the advertisement and thought since it was free and 5 weeks I'd give it a try. Seems to be useful.
It's all up and down. Lately I haven't been able to hit the floor if I fell out of bed which the last two weeks of the contest attest to. I'm borrowing a couple of darts from Ray this coming week. It looks like you're onto something with the top 10 portfolio. Great results an idea.
