I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. BillyJoe, I doubt the live show you saw included prerecorded music, a la Milli Vanilli or the infamous Ashleigh Simpson SNL "performance," but the music (Roll Over Beethoven) on that youtube video is definitely canned. In fact, it's the exact sound track from the LP, though it's slightly chopped (edited) in a few spots. Even though it's been decades since I've heard that LP, I'd bet money on it.
Earlier today (a few posts back) I threw up some charts from a momentum screen. Here's how those stocks did today:
Not bad for one day. Shoot, if I could do that even close to consistently I'd be in high cotton in no time flat. Of course the market was unusually kind today.
Actually my momentum screen did even better. On that list I have ASY, which is a typo. It was supposed to have been CASY. Well ASY lost 2.06% yesterday, and CASY gained 0.84%, making the average 1.26% instead of 1.14%.

Rob,
My curiosity just made me check out MSFT price history . Since going public 3/13/86 it has split 9 times making one share into 288. This includes both 2-1 and 3-2 splits. With the addition of special dividends , I think it would be worth more than a '66 El Camino unless it is absolutely cherry.

Last time I sold MSFT was 1989...Know why I never bot it back???...Because CANSLIM said it had too many shs out...Thx Bill
