Rnn could be huge!

Pebsdaisy posted the following on the Yahoo Message Boards March 22, 2010. Needless to say if the cards fall the right way for RNN MEGA BUCKS CAN BE MADE. Yes, it is a Biopharma and anything can happen, but at $1.60, the downside risk is low but the upside could be huge. This following paragraph is definitely worth the quick read!
"RNN management in NYC 22-Mar-10 09:19 pm I was fortunate enough to attend a presentation by managment to a series of moeny mangagers in NYC this past week. Dr Ahn was extremely upbeat and indicated that the statistically prepared cro report for serdaxin's phase 2a final results should be out early April and Zoraxel's same results should be out in early May. He anticipates Teva's second investment in June/july. He indicated that there are over 6 major Pharma companies who have signed cda's and are doing extensive due dilegence on a variety of their products. He inidicated he believed rnn could accomplish a deal for serdaxin and zoraxel that was similar to the Teva deal for the preclinical cancer compound rx-117. That deal gives milestone payments of over $200 million thru approval and a sizeable royalty. For drugs in phase2b a deal could be many times more in upfront payments. We are talking big numbers and he expects to conclude at least one if not more this year. That would put the stock in the mid teens for just one deal and not counting the value for the royalty. So I expect that upon the Serdaxin results the stock more than quadruples and goes up from there. "

I bot on a credible (I thought) takeover rumor about 5 years ago, but it didn't happen. That is not to say it will not happen this time. All I can say is that this is a credible company and I have always thought of it as the next Medimmune. So, might take another chance here. JMHO.

River thanx for your input , all the information I have....... has been gleaned from several sites over the web.....I don't own BMRN but I will be watching it. This is what I love about Mr Market .....WE all can learn alot here!
I do think RNN is a better bet for the money ......3 Phase 2 stocks in the hopper , a CEO and his family that own a huge number of shares ......THAT GIVES ME CONFIDENCE!

Best biopharma?tech stocks 3/26/10

Picking Biopharma/Tech stocks can be tricky and precarious. The financials generally leave much to be desired, and the prospect for a successful outcome is basically .....a gamble. If you are looking for safe dividends and very stable stocks please consider MO, PM and KFT which over the long haul will leave you with some nice profits. I f you are like me and would also like to roll the dice with the possibility of HUGE gains, Biotechs are the answer.
I feel that if you spread the risk over several "GOOD" biotechs, your chance for success is enhanced." Good" is relative , because NOBODY knows if the FDA will render favorable decisions for the stocks one chooses. After some research , I have isolated 8 possibilities. I have constructed a portfolio of $24,000 or $3,000 placed into each of 8 stocks. Of course you can place any amount into each stock , but my recommendation would be for "EQUAL" amounts into each stock.
I have utilized Friday's 3/26/10 closing prices as the start points for each stock. My purpose is to eliminate trading by HOLDING the positions and reporting results on a montly basis.
With OMABA care passed and money going to Pharma , I think our chances are excellent for securing HUGE gains! Yes, as FDA results come in be prepared for large fluctuations in price ......these stocks are definitely not for the timid and reserved.....but an old Chinese proverb states , " He who deliberates fully before taking a first step, will spend his entire life on one leg"
Or a s NIKE woud say , "Just Do It"

Yes I had a tight stop and it already kicked off, and I am out .......HOWEVER GNVC after all the selling should be a BUY again ...they still have drugs in the pipeline , and it is almost certain to snap back after all the hysteria ! I am NOT removing it from the "MODEL" porfolio as that is a HOLD in the portfolio. Cooler heads will prevail, and let us see how it does a month from now! SNSS May Be A buy!
