Isn't it also an amex stock?
    USU trades on the NYSE

I think the fundamentals improve for all other uranium miners when such a big player like CCJ has a problem like the news release I posted earlier. It's just my opinion on what can help you to make money faster. ST, technical reasons lead me to think that the better trade is with USU, but I understand your viewpoint. I don't think you should completely discount the merits of technical analysis to find good entry points. I'm not sure how much you use it.

MO beat revenue estimates, missed earnings by .03, but raised guidance for next quarter. At last check is down less than 1%. I'm holding.

I just pulled up a chart of usu and it does appear to be at long term support and moving off it. I'm going by memory here (I had at one time looked harder at usu) but isn't usu an old government run agency that processes spent uranium? They do pay a nice dividend. That chart suggests some resistance ahead but its a nice looking wedge forming there.

I see that someone has a short-term target on ccj of 31.5...that's another chunk from here and a good place to keep adding. Looking at the chart, the last breakout point wass around 27.5, that's a good place to add as well if it gets down there. I don't really care because my time frame is greater than 10 years to hold this one. I own some small canadian uranium miners that I don't even dare look at the price. If I check them once a year that's enough.

            Tatnic,
I'm sure you're telling the truth but I can't imagine anyone not looking at how their stocks are doing just once a year or so.

Anyway I exited my position in ELN at 15.20 for a loss of .55 on the trade. There are 3 guys that I trade for plus myself and they refused to let me make the trade for them the other day being that it was in front of earnings like it was. When I think about it I made a foolish move making the trade so close to the earnings report. I did like the chart to a degree but still way to close to earnings. In retrospect I think that I made the play just to be part of the group and the elation if the stock did go off. A foolish reason but I just spent about $760 on the play for the fun of it. Pretty stupid on my part. Anyone still holding after this report, well good luck. I wouldn't give it anymore rope. I always feel better after a good confession.

ski..some stocks are like watched pots. Others I watch much more closely and get out if I don't like the action.

speaking of which, looks like a short squeeze happening in IIG..at least until the have their earnings call in a few weeks.

                Tatnic,
I'm sure you're on top of it. Just kidding around with you.

I just covered the short play in ACOR at 16.95/16.97 range. Looks like I got out with a .75 gain.

As I posted on monday, I got into ERS at 11.02 monday morning. Its been doing nicely, but I don't have a stop on it, so I was wondering where the best place to put a stop would be. Looking at the chart I would say 12.45 looks like a good place to put a stop, but I have no experience placing stop orders, and whenever I have used them in the past they are too tight. Any thoughts?

                            Ski,
Out of ELN @15.35 , in TWGP @35.44. I'm too old to keep waiting on ELN. MO has swung 2.75 to the positive side since morning post, whoopie ! And look at GOOG take off again.
