Also, I had been sitting on the sidelines for the last couple of Mr. Market trades because I didn’t like the market, but I joined ESNT and PAYC today.

As I mentioned in my weekly market sentiment thread, I am starting to be convinced that my call of a major correction was probably off. In the end, you have to go with what the market actually tells you and not get married to what you believe it should do, and the signs are a little more bullish now. So, I started opening some positions, adding some last Thursday and then some yesterday and today. I’m not fully invested yet, as I am still a little apprehensive, but I am beginning to believe the market has a little more upside to it yet. As I see good entries, I will start rebuilding positions.
My new current holdings are:
AAPL, AAXN, ABMD, AMZN, ANET, BIDU, EDIT, LYV, MDB, NVDA, OKTA, PANW, SFIX, TDOC, TREX, TTWO
In addition, I have high interest, i.e. will very likely open positions, in the following:
AYX, BRK/B, CGNX (maybe), CRSP, DOCU, FB, GH, IIPR, ISRG, MA, MELI, MTCH, ROKU, RVLV (maybe), SHOP, TEAM, TTD, TWLO, VEEV, ZEN, ZM, ZS

Just a heads up. Apple (AAPL) will be holding a Special Events meeting tomorrow, Sept 10, 2019. They will be rolling out a number of new products probably including the iPhone 11 lineup and the Apple Watch 5. There is also the possibility that they will rollout the new iPad lineup, but that will probably not happen until October. There is also a rumor that they will be introducing a brand new product of some kind. One possibility is that it will be a Bluetooth finder similar to the Tile product. Another possibility is that it will be an over-the-ear Bluetooth headphone. Yet another possibility is that they are going to finally reveal their long rumored AR glasses. I think the chances of the last one are pretty small, but if true, it would be a colossal announcement. Stay tuned.

I went to cash today meaning I have no open positions. I am posting an update on my long term portfolio performance to reflect this. I plan to rebuild positions in most, if not all of these stocks when market conditions seem right to me. For now, I felt it was time to lock in some profit as I see a storm approaching. Here’s the updated performance list.

The analyst that raised the price target also said that he was concerned about deceleration in revenue at TTD. I think that his notes combined with the general uneasiness in the market right now is putting pressure on TTD. I’m very nervous about the market myself.

Don't see any news which would account for the drop in TTD today (Monday). In fact Citi or somebody raised their price target.

I just joined you in RVLV. Sold off my NTNX. I think NTNX will make a comeback once it’s move to a subscription model starts bearing fruit, but I’m tired of waiting. It’s been a weed in the middle of a bunch of roses, so it’s time to do a little cultivation.
I’m adding RVLV to my “long term favorites” stock list that I started in December. This list now includes:
AAPL, AAXN, AMZN, ANET, AYX, DOCU, EDIT, FB, IIPR, ISRG, LYV, MTCH, MA, MDB, NVDA, OKTA, RVLV, TDOC, TEAM, TTD, TWLO

Other stocks in which I have a position: ABMD, APPN, BIDU, BRK/B, CGNX, GH, MELI, PANW, ROKU, SFIX, SHOP, TREX, TTWO, VEEV, ZEN, ZM

Good luck with it, Louetta. This looks like it could be a really good entry here. I may have to free up some cash to grab some shares at these discounted prices. I’m still bullish on the company as are the analysts apparently (they are maintaining a buy/outperform rating).
I have a few underperformers in my long term portfolio, and I have been thinking about selling them so I can move the cash into some new stocks. In addition to RVLV, some stocks on my radar for possible long term buys include CRSP, CWBHF, FICO, IIVI, LITE, MASI, NVTA, and RDFN.

Bought a 1/2 position ($26.1367) on today's 6 month earnings report. I interpret increases in sales, etc., as decent but not the kind of outrageous stuff people often demand in what they perceive to be a growth stock. Still like the influencer strategy and the variety of brands and what I think are relatively modest sums spent on marketing. Having recently been one, I can see youngish girls heading there to pick up the latest stuff without ever having to head to the mall. Must admit if the company was making widgets I most likely would never have looked twice at it.Originally posted by BlueWolf View PostRead the first 10 pages (summary) of the RVLV S-1. It’s very impressive.

BYND down below $200 after announcing a secondary. Hasn't been that low since.....well, last Wednesday. (Also a 287% increase in Q2 revenue.)

OK, I bit the bullet today and bought some ZS in one of my accounts. It’s a little bold given where we are overall, but I like the little bullish base on the daily and this company has been crushing it.
