The analyst that raised the price target also said that he was concerned about deceleration in revenue at TTD. I think that his notes combined with the general uneasiness in the market right now is putting pressure on TTD. I’m very nervous about the market myself.

I went to cash today meaning I have no open positions. I am posting an update on my long term portfolio performance to reflect this. I plan to rebuild positions in most, if not all of these stocks when market conditions seem right to me. For now, I felt it was time to lock in some profit as I see a storm approaching. Here’s the updated performance list.

Just a heads up. Apple (AAPL) will be holding a Special Events meeting tomorrow, Sept 10, 2019. They will be rolling out a number of new products probably including the iPhone 11 lineup and the Apple Watch 5. There is also the possibility that they will rollout the new iPad lineup, but that will probably not happen until October. There is also a rumor that they will be introducing a brand new product of some kind. One possibility is that it will be a Bluetooth finder similar to the Tile product. Another possibility is that it will be an over-the-ear Bluetooth headphone. Yet another possibility is that they are going to finally reveal their long rumored AR glasses. I think the chances of the last one are pretty small, but if true, it would be a colossal announcement. Stay tuned.

As I mentioned in my weekly market sentiment thread, I am starting to be convinced that my call of a major correction was probably off. In the end, you have to go with what the market actually tells you and not get married to what you believe it should do, and the signs are a little more bullish now. So, I started opening some positions, adding some last Thursday and then some yesterday and today. I’m not fully invested yet, as I am still a little apprehensive, but I am beginning to believe the market has a little more upside to it yet. As I see good entries, I will start rebuilding positions.

          My new current holdings are:

AAPL, AAXN, ABMD, AMZN, ANET, BIDU, EDIT, LYV, MDB, NVDA, OKTA, PANW, SFIX, TDOC, TREX, TTWO

In addition, I have high interest, i.e. will very likely open positions, in the following:

AYX, BRK/B, CGNX (maybe), CRSP, DOCU, FB, GH, IIPR, ISRG, MA, MELI, MTCH, ROKU, RVLV (maybe), SHOP, TEAM, TTD, TWLO, VEEV, ZEN, ZM, ZS

Added more positions today. Close to fully in. Dear market, PLEASE don’t rollover now! I’ll add some write ups when I have a chance.

Others on my LT watch list:

AYX, BRK/B, CGNX (maybe), CRSP, DOCU (might have to bite the bullet and buy here before it runs away), FB, GH, MA, MTCH, TEAM, TTD, TWLO, ZM, ZS

Added a few more positions to be fully invested again.

              My current holdings are:

AAPL, AAXN, ABMD, AMZN, ANET, APPN (This one somehow got omitted previously), AYX, BIDU, EDIT, FSLY (This is new), GH, IIPR, ISRG, LYV, MDB, MELI, MTCH, NVCR (This is new), NVDA, OKTA, PANW, ROKU, RVLV, SFIX, SHOP, TDOC, TEAM, TREX, TTD, TTWO, TWLO, VEEV, ZEN

Here’s my updated LT watch list, to which I have added a few stocks. I’m done with my bulk buying for now and will probably just pick up a few these here and there:

BRK/B, CGNX, CRSP, CRWD, DOCU, FB, FICO, IIVI, LITE, MA, MASI, NEE, NTNX, SNPS, ZM, ZS

Also, I had been sitting on the sidelines for the last couple of Mr. Market trades because I didn’t like the market, but I joined ESNT and PAYC today.

I took a half position in CRWD today. This is a fairly recent IPO and is in a very competitive space, but I like their technology and story. I also like and had previously owned competitor ZS. ZS has taken a pounding recently, but the silver lining is that it looks attractive at this valuation. If I can convince myself that there is still a growth story there, I will take a 1/2 position in ZS too as a hedge.

I also took a 1/2 position in FICO. It’s not a burner, but it’s a steady earner and you need a few of those, e.g. like MA or V, in your portfolio.

I’d really like to get back into DOCU and MA, but I am looking for the right entry.

Also, I’m adding OLLI and WIX to my watchlist.

                      LT Holdings:
AAPL, AAXN, ABMD, AMZN, ANET, APPN, AYX, BIDU, CRWD, EDIT, FICO, FSLY, GH, IIPR, ISRG, LYV, MDB, MELI, MTCH, NVCR, NVDA, OKTA, PANW, ROKU, RVLV, SFIX, SHOP, TDOC, TEAM, TREX, TTD, TTWO, TWLO, VEEV, ZEN

I had added a few positions (EEFT, EPAM, FB, MA, and WIX), including some 1/2 positions, a couple of weeks ago before I backed off buying. I’m sitting on these positions a little nervously with some draw down, but I like all these outfits for the long term.

Here are my current LT positions:
AAPL, AAXN, ABMD, AMZN, ANET, APPN, AYX, BIDU, CRWD, DOCU, EDIT, EEFT, EPAM, FB, FICO, FSLY, GH, IIPR, ISRG, LYV, MA, MDB, MELI, MTCH, NVCR, NVDA, OKTA, PANW, ROKU, RVLV, SFIX, SHOP, TDOC, TEAM, TREX, TTD, TTWO, TWLO, VEEV, WIX, ZEN, ZM, ZS

Here is my updated LT watchlist, i.e. stocks I am considering for long term holds (there are a number of new entries here):
BRK/B, CGNX, CRM, CRSP, GOOS, IIVI, KNSL, LITE, MASI, NEE, NOW, NTNX, OLLI, PYPL, RGEN, SNPS, STNE, WD, ZUO

Good list. I admire your resolution. I had good luck with STNE earlier this year, very similar to the Mr. Market pick PAGS and a pick of one of Buffett's lieutenants which helped give it a push.
