It doesn't let me upload pictures.

However here are the three highs to connect with a straight line for the upper channel (weekly chart):

    $201.60 - week ended 11/05/2004
    $299.59 - week ended 6/10/2005
    $391.79 - week ended 11/04/2005

Then you will notice that GOOG violated this major channel last week.

Here is an article about the theory I was talking about http://www.investors.com/editorial/e...cure=18&show=1

NYNY - is it building a nice new base?

I noticed that NYNY has been lately gravitating to the higher side.
With a fairly small float (15 million shares) out of which there is a 10% short positions, do you think it maybe a nice entry here?

It seems to pop alot on any news, but always gets pushed back down. What is different this time is that the "down" is getting higher and higher.

      THANKS Spike!

          The GOOG setup:

The play was buying the GOOG calls at the R shoulder there.

Oh you're talking trend lines making up a channel. OK. I see. Well alright then, yep it's resistance. This channel long today is support play and as cautious as always

Oh goodie...I had a chance to bail on it for even and didn't. Mistake that one... gotta go outside and give myself an uppercut now. Thanks dmk! haha

Is it still buyble? I take it you mean buyable? Or do you mean bubable! lol Seriously, I wouldn't be opening a new position for it now....yet. The failed set up today signals that it wants lower. I'll exit these calls at resistance somewhere tomorrow, take my medicine, and look for the a or c sometime down the road.

Still holding these Q calls as of close; not for long. They remain +67% but will definately be exiting early strength tomorrow.

The fat lady sang for me today, and my bias changes to neutral today. Glad to be out of the YM swing long now. Pretty much got most of it, and stalking a swing YM short now.

Hey Tom. Eesh, hope you aren't long these two ugly ducklings.

BOT: Oh boy. I just searched for my posts on it, and I'm reminded back to late Oct when dmk was saying it would move up another 300%, and I was a stick in the mud and called 'double top' http://www.mrmarketishuge.com/showpo...postcount=4773
As it turns out, it was a double top and it's performed like a dog, especially if those gaps are any judge. Daily channel turned down in late Oct and it's been selling any strength since. In fact, the last 2 days show channel crash from the high at 121.77. That's very very bearish action and whispers prices under 79.00. Channel turn down at 105.40 was another whisper she was in trouble. Absolutely no excuse for longs to be holding this one. Daily money flow suck bilge water, and if I were a bag-holder, I'd be hiring trainers to give me uppercuts for the rest of the evening. Hope you are not long dude!

UARM: 2 words would do it for me. "Inside day". The 3rd day of trading it had one. And it's been nicely sold when it broke down. No reason to be holding long at all. That's headed to 13.00 I would say right now.

Make em pretty, cuz if you leave it to chance, it'll be ugly. But you know that!

Don't like the look of it bull-wise at all. Needs to mature and show me some stuff. If I had to call a bias, it would be short to neutral.

Bubbable... that's what I thought at first, too Of course, the correct word for "bubbable" is the famous "frothy"

                      • greetings Spike,

I dont own UARM or BOT thankfully, but am still stalking DRL short. The closer it gets to mid 10s the more Ill be trigger ready.Fear is keeping me on the side for now,I figure Ill let it play out for a while and see which way its likely to break.

Its short interest dropped the most of any stock in November, not sure what that means other than alot of folks locked in a huge profit.

                        cordially Tom

GOOG; sold my calls for a push and just got a system long signal for the YM, which I'm taking 10922. 30 point initial stop.

I don't even look at short interest. To me, it's just smoke and dust that distracts me from seeing clearly what it is I'm trying to do. Does my short interest have to align a group of others? Course not. In fact, perhaps it's better that it doesn't.

I hear ya re fear. I'd word it differently. I'd say "this chart is showing enough strength that I will decline the trade altogether, or simply wait for the TA to turn into something delicious and irresistable". Get the word fear out of your head and replace it with logic. Simply refuse to allow it to exist in your vocabulary and thinking process. Out of mind out of setup. Just like every other emotion.

Sold my QQQQ calls (+QQQLN) for +61% gain. Market looking decidedly bearish!

MCO is the winner! It's the Superstar, the Superstock! Yippee hooray, praise da Looord!

ARS stopped out today for breakeven on the average at 33.24. I'm bidding low for MCO S2 entry. This add has to be a good one if MCO is gonna have any chance in current market conditions.
